Hey death, where are you when I finally want you
The past week at Hogwarts after winter break had been hell for Fox and that was saying something. A constant storm of all to familiar emotion clouded her mental. Fear, anxiety, depression, self loathing sat perched on her shoulders at all times with front row seats to the train wreck that was her life. Hushed whispers and sly stares were the only human contact she'd been graced with. Fox knew it was no coincidence people scattered when she entered the common room, or the library or avoided sitting within a meter of her in the dining hall. Even people she thought were genuinely her friends hadn't even looked in her general vicinity and she knew exactly why and that why had only one name.
Narcissa Fucking Black.
"Well well well who do we have here" her voice was like nails on a chalk board and the last thing Fox wanted to hear in that moment.
Narcissa was nothing now compared with the person she'd be come adulthood and for that Fox simultaneously thanked and spat in the face of Merlin. Why must Narcissa be a hateful spiteful loathsome little cockroach at this time.
Fox had no idea back then but the black and white haired bitch would save her godsons life.
"Hello to you to cissy" the blonde didn't look up from her divination homework and continued to scribble down equations.
"You've got some serious nerve sitting here, I think we should teach this little muggle lover a lesson what do you say girls?"
Fox knew she was talking to the 3 girls she assumed were backing her up. Aria Crowley, Croxy Nella and Amira Lestrange. All Slytherin, all pure blood. The muggle borns referred to them as the 'Pureblood Barbies' the 4 of them clung to Fox as though she was their god.
Well they did up until summer break when shit hit the fan.
"This is my table Narcissa"
"No this is our table"
Fox didn't back down she believed Narcissa was all talk. She was weak, always had been.
"No I chose this table and I let you sit with me, and now you will not sit with me" for the first time Fox looked at Narcissa.
You see the most shocking physical feature Fox possessed was not her pale skin or her blonde hair that was so light it was almost white or the way her canine teeth grew in such a way they resembled fangs.
No, it was her eyes.
One a steely piercing blue and a other a deep sea green.
And the thing that had always scared Narcissa was the fact that no matter how hard she tried the only thing she ever saw in Fox's eyes was hatred. Hatred for her.
Fox watched as the other girls refused to look at her and Narcissa avoided eye contact.
"Whatever this table is shit anyway, girls let's go to the library and meet Lucius" the blonde rolled her eyes at the name of Narcissa's lover. Malfoy was an idiot. The girls turned and strutted off.
Fox went back to her work.Whilst Fox believed Narcissa was all talk she was quickly and embarrassingly proven wrong moments later when she found herself and her books and pretty much anything and everything in the surrounding area of her absolutely drenched it water.
