"Thank you for the lift." Mi Jo says as she lets the concierge takes her luggage and her golf bag.

"It's the least I could do." Jin Woo closes the car trunk then faces her.

"Right. Okay, this is me then." They stand awkwardly across from each other, no one dares to look at the other.

"Okay. Have fun with your golf lesson. What is your handicap now?"

"Wow, the last time we were talking about golf, you broke up with me. Now, you're using the lingo."

"Handicap and par are the only things I know, trust me, not much improvement."

Mi Jo chuckles. "Thank you again. Good luck for telling them the news. And happy Chuseok."

Jin Woo smiles softly at her and she almost melts on the spot. God, he still has that effect on her.

"Happy Chuseok, Mi Jo-ya." He steps forward on reflex before stopping himself when he realizes Mi Jo freezes. She bites her lips, feeling conscious about herself.

What did he plan to do?

"Right— sorry." He steps back again. Mi Jo follows his lead and steps back, adding distance between them.

"Bye, Yoo Jin Woo. Take care."

She turns around and leaves him, forcing herself not to look back. But of course, she can't. Glancing back, she finds him still looking at her. And that sent her back to each time he had to drop her on her apartment, he would do just that.

Waiting for her to get inside and taking care of her. Until suddenly he wasn't.

She always wondered, what had gone wrong? Was it because she was so disorganized after she moved in with him? Or was it because that fight about Kim Sun Woo?

"But I told him, Kim Sun Woo is a colleague. Nothing more. There must be a reason."

Or was it because of her plan to take a year off to go abroad?

Anyway, they were history. She is pretty sure of that. She waves at him then proceeds to check in on the reception.

"Good evening. I want to check in. My agent has booked me a room for the night. If I may put on a request, don't put me in twin bedroom."

"Good evening. May I know your name, Miss?"

"Cha Mi Jo."

"Please wait for a minute while I check the reservation."

"Thank you."

Mi Jo starts to feel uneasy when the reception takes a long time of locate her reservation. Is something wrong?

"Miss, can you repeat your name? Cha Mi Jo, is it?"

"Yes."

"There is a booking under your name, but unfortunately, it's for tomorrow. Not tonight."

"What?!"

"I'm sorry, Miss. Your reservation is for tomorrow night."

"Can you change it? Add another night?"

"Let me check the room availability, usually it's fully booked, because it's Chuseok." The hotel employee types away in her computer, hoping to find a room for the irritated guest. As expected, there's none available.

"I'm sorry, Miss. We're fully booked for tonight. Do you want me to help you finding another place to stay? It's quite late."

Mi Jo pales at the attendant's information. This holiday starts with one hurdle over hurdle. Should she just end the holiday now? "Please? Can you do that for me?"
