The loud ringing of the gunshots were heard from the roof causing the walkers go wild as if the sounds encouraged them more to break through the glass doors.

"Oh no is that Dixon?" Andrea complained running up towards the roof. Quickly the rest of the group followed shortly behind her. As I was left behind in my own thoughts.

'We need to get out of here,' I thought as my eyes were glued to the same walker that struggled with its skin-peeled frail limbs carrying a brick. 'No way in Hell I want to turn into one those things outside.'

Tearing my eyes off the walker I hurried to the stairs slamming the door open, I was met to a man with harsh blue eyes with a heavy body chest form. He had ripped clothes on, a stereotypical southern redneck by the name of Merle as the group were screaming at him by.

I walked into the scene where Merle was attacking T-Dog, one of the men who helped us go through inside the building alongside Morales although he wasn't involved in the fight.

Rick butted into the fight to stop from making matters worse but was only to be knocked off into the ground by Merle's fist. Soon after I helped Rick stand up, he tackled Merle in the middle of his speech into the ground and hand-cuffed him to a pipe.

"Who the Hell are you, man?" Merle grunted struggling to rip the hand-cuffs off poorly doing so, whilst slouching in his seat.

"Officer friendly," Rick retorted back shoving the keys into his pocket.

"look here Merle, things are different now. There are no niggers anymore. Only dark meat and white meat, there's us and the dead. We survive this by pulling together, not apart." Rick finished his small yet powerful speech.

There was a long pause until Merle regained his composure."Screw you man," Merle spat ruining the the moment "and her too.' he glanced at me with a sicked look on his face causing me to shift uncomfortably in place.

Angered by the response, Rick shoved Merle further back by the collar of his dirty shirt that he wore and pulled out his gun to Merle's head.

"Ought' to be polite to a man with a gun. Common sense." The officer mocked.

"You wouldn't," Merle said eyeing the gun, "you're a cop." a sly smile tugged at his lips.

Merle leaned in and whispered something inaudible to Ricks ear but he soon shut his mouth to the harsh response from Rick. 'Whatever Rick told Merle made us a huge favor to the rest of the group.' As the ruckus subsided I walked towards the edges of the building. I leaned into the railings of the buildings, the wind blowing harshly tangling my already knotted hair.

I watched as the dead below took the city as their own roaming the endless streets. Atlanta was far gone, beyond to save impossible to retake as our own.

On the corner of my eye a shadow loomed over from the spot next to me, assuming it was a walker, I jumped and took my knife out and stood in defense whilst turning around only to be met by a face stricken of shock and horror.

Andrea

I instantly dropped my knife back to place and mentally scolded myself. I felt the heat rise into my cheeks well aware that I was turning red from embarrassment. 'Apologize idiot.'

"I'm i-i just-" I stuttered words slipping past my lips.

"No its alright I'm supposed to be the one apologizing for putting a gun at your face." Andrea apologized fiddling with her thumbs.

"Its alright, I understand. You were just defending your ground." I managed out without stuttering.

Smiling at her I turned around, the sun was shadowing the tall buildings casting a ominous look onto the floor below us where the dead stood. There was a nice silence between us gazing throughout the dead city Atlanta.

It almost felt as if the world never teared apart.

"I see Merle has been bothering you." she noted.

"I'm already tired of him." I groaned rubbing my temples with my palms.

"He's not the only Dixon around here back at camp 'you know. He has a little brother named Daryl. He's trouble just as Merle. He just doesn't talk as much." she commented.

'Two Dixons, I can barely handle one without managing to gouge my eyes out. But as again I didn't know what to do with the information Andrea gave me. Merle might of be a pain in the ass but it didn't mean so was his brother. I couldn't criticize a man who've I haven't ever met. I'll just have to figure it out by myself if he was just as his brother.'

"Alright thanks for the advice Andrea."

"God, it's like Times-Square down there." Andrea breathed out leaning over the edge to get a better view.

The group were arguing about something, I was too busy lost in my own world of thoughts to figure out what was wrong.

"Then she's right, we are on our own. Its up to us to figure a way out." Rick stated agreeing on what Andrea said.

"Good luck with that, these streets ain't safe in this part of town from what I hear," Merle said picking at his nails.
"ain't that right sugar tits?" Merle turned flashing a devious smile at me.

"Hey little flower, I haven't seen seen a pretty face like yours in while, how about you get me out of these hand-cuffs and we can go off somewhere and bump some uglies," he suggested.
"gonna die anyways."

"I rather die, thanks." I shot back.

"Not my kind of girl anyways, how about I hook you up with my baby brother. Reckon' he'll real like you." Merle grinned.

Ignoring Merle I focused on the real issue that the group was discussing about.

"Streets aren't safe." Rick concluded.

"That's an understatement." Morales replied. The group was pulling out ideas, figuring out on how to get out but only to be concluded to be turned into disasters.

"What about under the streets, you know the sewers?" I suggested pulled onto the discussion.

"That's not such a bad idea." Rick agreed to the plan and we all headed downstairs where the entrance to the sewers started, leaving T-Dog and Merle on the roof.

We mapped out our plan from the orders of Glenn. As from Glenn directed to us Jacqui will be staying at the entrance of the sewers for lookout. Rick, Andrea and I were lookout inside the shop in case of any trouble since we were the only people armed with guns to defend. As of Glenn and Morales they were to be in search of any ways out down the dark sewers.

Everyone doing their jobs, all hoping to soon get out of here.

Dreading the worst if we didn't.
