Leticia's P.O.V
"You all didn't seriously show up here for our first day of school, did you?" I groan as I walk down the staircase in my new school uniform, my back pack over my shoulder.
It looked like just about everyone was here. Liam and a very pregnant Danielle, the ever so childish couple, Louis and Eleanor, a heart broken Harry, the happy-go-lucky Niall, smiley Jade, a very tanned Leigh-Anne, the fabulously styled Jesy and of course, Mum and Dad.
We had been homeschooled for the last year, considering both bands were touring for the majority of it and it'd be easier to catch up on everything we'd missed or hadn't covered in our time at the orphanage.
Mum was excited about us finally going to school but Dad? Dad wasn't so thrilled, especially when he learnt that it was a co-education school, therefore his 'innocent', 'little' girls would be exposed to the opposite sex.
"We're actually here to save you from when Perrie starts taking pictures and Zayn starts to get too emotional" Leigh-Anne teased my parents.
"Well in that case, I won't be in such a sour mood" I opened the fridge door to get out some yoghurt.
"P-lease" Vexi's voice filled the room, "you've been sour since you found out we were going to school. A little protecting from overexcited and emotional parents won't change that" she comes down the starts, jumping off from the third last one and landing effortlessly perfect.
"We're not that bad, are we?" Mum looked around the room for answers. Everyone stayed quiet.
"I actually think it's kinda cute" Kyra appears at the top of the stairs, her own backpack slung over her shoulder.
I watch her bounce down the stairs, her ponytail bouncing with her. She's had a few rough months and was finally pulling through. It was slightly weird to see since we were getting used to the gloomy Kyra. She'd changed a lot too, we all have, but she wasn't so babyish anymore. She kind of matured to a whole new level.
"Glade to see you're in a good mood" Harry pinches her cheek. She gives him a half smile, to which he returned. They'd grown even closer with their heartbreaking situations lately.
"I'm horrified with this outfit" Vexi grumbles. "Look at it. It's so sexist and it has like no style what's so ever" she complains.
"I think it looks nice" Danielle looked at each of us, judging our identical uniforms.
We had to wear a white blouse with three quarter sleeves, a black knitted vest type thing - that didn't have sleeves - over the shirt, a blue tie that matches our blue shirt and black stockings, shoes and hair accessories.
We also had a black blazer with blue piping but only to and from school and major events. Our sports uniform was simply a blue shirt and black netball skirt with knee high socks and black trainers. It was the very first time we had worn something so dull coloured and simply boring, but I guess it could be worse.
"But look at the pattern" she stood up to show Danielle her skirt.
"Mine was so much worse" Jade adjusted the hem on Vexi's shirt.
"Please, I had the worst colours ever. Yellow and brown" Eleanor screeched with disgust.

"Mr and Mrs Malik, we have already catered to your daughters specific needs. We have a few students here with high profile parents or family and each student that attends here has sighed confidentiality contracts when they first enrolled stating certain rule regarding fellow student privacy" the headmaster, Mr Robins, explained.
One issue with us three starting high school was the fact that we would be totally unprotected and vulnerable here. Our parents and Modest Management went to extreme lengths to find a school that would protect our privacy - catering to our 'specific needs'. This particular school has a system for socially high profiled students to ensure safety from not only other students but also the media.
I didn't exactly like the rules here, but I had a feeling it'll work to my advantage.
"And I think that's it" Mr Robins clapped his hands once signifying the end or maybe it was the beginning, the beginning of torture that is school.
"You girls have fun" mum kissed each of our cheeks. I rubbed my cheek to rid the possible lipstick she has often left behind before.
"Mum will pick you up after school out front and then we have to go to that dinner thing tonight" dad informs us.
"Ok" we nodded.

Kyra's P.O.V
I groaned in frustration. "I can't open this damn locker" I hit it with my palm, making a metallic shattering sound.
"It's a pain in the arse. Was last year, still is this year" a male voice from beside me made me jump. I turned my head to see an average height, brunette make with his hair pushed back leaning his shoulder against the locker two down from mine. His dark brown eyes were captivating and his small smirk looked as though he was amused with my struggles.
"How would you know?" I asked then immediately mentally scolded myself. It was probably his last year.
"It was mine last year" bingo. "It took time to get used to. Let me show you the trick" he offered.
I moved backwards to let him have full access to my locker. Vexi and Letty watched on not so secretively and gave me innocent, encouraging smiles. I rolled my eyes.
"The combination has to be exact and you have to pull hard to unlock it" he demonstrated and opened the door to my locker. "And there you go" he stepped back for me.
"Thank you" I said sincerely and placed my bag in the locker. "I'm-"
"Kyra Malik. That One Direction star's adopted daughter" he nodded.
"Stalker, fan or both?" I narrowed my eyes playfully.
"My sister demands to have their album on repeat whenever we're in the car. It's usually the first. And, you and your sisters have been constantly in the media since you were adopted" he explained.
"Don't remind me" I groaned and gathered my pencil case and notebook.
"Hi. I'm Vexi" my sister interrupted, probably as one of her medalling hunches.
"Brooklyn Beckham" he introduced himself for the first time.
"David and Victoria Beckham's oldest" I realised. I knew he looked somewhat familiar.
"Sure am" he didn't take his eyes off of me. Letty walked up behind me and wrapped one arm around my waist. "So that makes you Leticia"
"Letty" she corrected him. "Do you think you could point us to home room?" She asked, equally as 'innocent' as Vexi was acting. She held out her schedule, which had the room number for our home room.
"Right this way ladies" he guided us down the hallway, holding a smug-like smile the whole way.
