Taehyung was peacefully working in his office when suddenly the stations alarm started to go off, he went outside where the chief was explaining the situation
"There was a shooting at an alleyway , you know what to do" the chief said and Taehyung went and graved his bulletproof vest and gun. He quickly went to his police car and drove to the alleyway.
12 years had passed, Taehyung moved to Seoul and went to college there he fell in love with police work so when he graduated he sighed in to the FBI he got accepted and became one of the best FBI agents Korea has. Sadly Taehyung lost contact with Jungkook he didn't know why, when they finished high school they did everything together like always, they stopped talking when Taehyung went to Seoul and Jungkook to America.
Taehyung tried to contact him put me never responded he guessed that Jungkook had changed phone numbers, when he asked Jungkook's friends they just responded with "he is still in America" or "haven't heard from him" of course Tae got sad but I man he had to continue with his life
Taehyung got to alleyway and got out of the car, he went where all of the officer were to get orders from the chief
"Ok, group A your leader will be officer Kim Search the left side, group B you'll be with me we will search right side and group C make sure no one is hurt you will be leaded by officer Choi!" the Chief said and they all nodded, Taehyung group went to the left side of the alleyway
"officer Kim there's someone hurt" someone said and Taehyung hurried over there, it was a young adult, female she was whimpering from the pain, she had gone shot in the leg, the other officer started to help her while Taehyung spoke on the walkie talkie with officer Choi so he would bring people from his group over to help the girl

"go ahead, over"
"Female, shot in the leg, about 22 years old, over"
"Roger that, over and out"
A Few seconds passed when they saw two officer from group C coming and helped the girl, Taehyung proceeded on searching the place he went farther into the alleyway were no officer was when he got to a dead end he was about to leave when he heard ruffling behind him, he turned around. There was a tall man about 6 foot tall, all dressed in black, he slowly went to grave his gun when the man suddenly spoke
"I won't do any harm, there's no need to get the gun, Tae bear" Taehyung widened his eyes, the man noticed and chuckled
"aww remember me " the man said smirking, there was only one person that called him like that....it couldn't be.....
Jungkook
he could believe it was Jungkook but that wasn't the old Jungkook from high school this new Jungkook had an arm full of tattoos a face piercings and long wavy hair
"J-Jungkook" Taehyung said and Jungkook started to walk towards him and Taehyung took steps back until they reached to wall, Jungkook placed his hand on chin and lifted it
"Long time no see" Taehyung could only looked at him, Jungkook was smirking and graved his waist
"stay away" Taehyung managed to say without stuttering, and tried to push him away from him but he only tightened his hold
"Why, you scared tae bear?" Jungkook said with a teasing tone, scared wasn't the right word Taehyung was shocked
"don't call me that" Taehyung said the only thing that came into his mind and Jungkook got angry and tighten the hold on Taehyungs chin
"you've gotten even more beautiful then when I last saw you" Jungkook said checking him out taehyung took the opportunity he graved his gun and used all of his force to switch the position. Now Jungkook's back was against the wall with Taehyung pointing his gun at him
"ohh Tae bear you think that scares me?" Jungkook said taking steps forward and graving the front of the gun with his hands "you wouldn't shoot me, your childhood best friend, the only one you got left" Jungkook said with a smirk and Taehyung just looked at him frozen, Jungkook laughed "that's what I thought" when suddenly they heard Taehyungs group approaching
"that's my cue to leave" Jungkook said and winked at Taehyung, Jungkook fliped Taehyung over and somehow vanished "everything alright officer Kim?" one of his group members asked and Taehyung nodded., he was still in shock but keped searching. They all finished with the search and Taehyung didn't know what to do he just saw Jungkook after not knowing about him for 12 years so his mind just went blank
The chief approached him "the person who did this didn't leave any trace and there was only one person that needed to go to the hospital, its like they did this to gather attention" chief said but Taehyung was still processing what just happened so he didn't really pay attention
The Chief noticed this it wasnt like tae to look this distracted
"You can take the rest of the day off" Taehyung looked at the chief and smiles at him he bowed and got into his car and drove to his apartment
He wasnt going to protest, he really needed to lay down.
Taehyung had a decent sized apartment, his bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. It filled all his necessities
He went to his room and changed into some sweat pants and sweat shirt and laid on his bed, what did Jungkook suddenly want with him he couldn't think of any logical explanation I mean 12 years had passed and in those years he didn't contact him, why now
maybe it was Jungkook who did it, "of course not Tae, what are you thinking, Jungkook wouldn't do something like that..... right... then again he was really quick to go when the other officers arruved..no Taehyung stop!" He thought and shook it off quickly
Taehyung stayed laying on his bed and thinking about the re-encounter he just had when his stomach growled, he stood up and went to the kitchen "what will I make?" He cheeked his pantry and saw some instant ramen
"This will do" he said to himself and graved it
"What day is it today?" Tae wondered so he took his phone and cheeked the date it was December 29 "oh tomorrows my 30th birthday" Tae thought but he didn't really like birthdays anymore since he didn't have anybody to celebrate it with
He finished making the ramen and when to the living room and put on a random show, when finished eating he went to the kitchen to wash his plate and went to his room to finish a paper that he's been working on
2 Hours passed and Taehyung started to yawn, he closed his computer and went to his bed,
He was asleep peacefuly, not knowing that tomorow was going to be at the other end of the spectrum.
