Wilhelm stayed at his dorm the whole day. Seeing Simon like that had shocked him. It had hurt his heart.

He felt like it was all his fault. He couldn't stand the thought.

He had been lying on his bed the whole day, watching Netflix on his computer. He wasn't really invested in the series he was watching, but he had nothing else to do.

Wilhelm knew Simon didn't believe him this morning. He knew him too well. But what could he do about it? He probably didn't even want to see him.

***
Wilhelm was walking into the dinner room when he got really confused.

He was just walking to his usual seat, when he saw Simon standing behind a chair at the end of the table.

Wilhelm's heart jumped.

What was he doing here?

He gave Simon a questioning look, but Simon didn't return any.

Was he mad at Wilhelm? Did he want revenge? Wilhelm didn't understand. He didn't want him to be there, but at the same time he did.

First of all, he wouldn't be able to focus on any other in the room when Simon was there, and second of all, he didn't know how Simon felt about the situation.

Was he mad about Wilhelm taking care of him? Or was he grateful? Did he regret it? It was he happy he finally drank?

The thoughts were dancing around on his mind, making his vision slightly blurry, and he had to grab the chair to not trip. He was breathing heavily, and he started to feel anxious.

He could not get an attack now. It was not the time. Not now.

He began to shake, desperately trying himself not to. His head exploding from the thunder in his mind, being too loud.

Everything became more and more blurry every second, and he started to lose his balance even more.

And that's when Simon noticed. He almost ran the two meters that separated them, and grabbed Wilhelm on the back.

Wilhelm felt the hand on the back immediately, and knew it was Simon.

"Wille let's go outside for a minute" Simon said very calm.

Wilhelm could feel everybody staring at him. Nosey about what was going on.

-Simon-

Simon led them both down the corridor, and found the nearest window. He had seen Wille doing that once. The first time they kissed, When Wille thought Simon didn't know he was having an attack.

And that's when he realised, that he had led them to the exact same spot where they had kissed for the first time.

Simons heart made a little jump.

He opened the window and helped Wilhelm get up the window sill, so he could get some fresh air.

He noticed that it immediately helped on Willes breathing troubles.

Wilhelm started rubbing his chest, as Simon had seen him do so many times.

"Are you okay?" Simon asked, not sure if it was appropriate at the time.

Wilhelm looked at him.

"Yes I'm fine" he smiled a bit. "I just got a cramp in my toe.

Simon giggled. The memory from this window was so special to Simon, and he was glad, that the first time he was there again, was with the one he shared the memory with.

"I never said thank you for taking care of me yesterday" Simon finally had enough courage to say it out loud. So he took the opportunity.

"Don't worry about it, it happens to all of us" Wille started picking his nail whilst saying it, and looked out the window.

"I never thought it would happen to me" Simon said, ashamed of his own actions. Wille turned his head and looked him deep in the eyes.

"Simon, if you ever need someone to talk to" Wille looked down yet again. "Just know you can come to me"

Wille looked nervous, fumbling with his shoe laces.

Simon wanted to say something, but the Words wouldn't get past the throat. He just felt too emotional.

"I know we're not exactly, us anymore. We're just Simon and Wilhelm"

finally he looked up at Simon, and marked his eyes right at Simons.

"But I still care for you Simon, a lot. And I don't want you to feel alone or sad"

Simon couldn't resist it anymore, a tear shed down his cheek, all these feelings he had swallowed with the alcohol suddenly worked his way up to his heart again.

He felt a pain he had never felt before in his life. He wanted this so bad, he didn't want a Wilhelm and a Simon. He wanted a Wilhelm and Simon. But he couldn't get that. He knew it. And that's what made him so emotional. He knew he would never be able to be truly happy again.

"Simon don't cry please" Wille said with a concerning tone. He looked at Simon, his heart truly hurting.

And that's where Simon gave in. He went over to Wilhelm, and hugged him so tightly he could ever do.

He took in all of Wilhelm. His so familiar smell, the warmth from his body, the soft skin on Simons and his heart beating right where Simons was too. I'm step with each other.

For a moment they were one whole. They were infinite. Just the two of them. Two hearts, one beat.

"I'm sorry" Wilhelm said to Simons hair, almost cracking his voice.

"I'm so sorry" he cried.

Simons heart fell to his stomach. He felt so bad for Wille. He knew he was under so much pressure, and he felt like he had treated Wille horribly. He would have done the same if he was in Willes position.

"It's okay Wille, it's okay" Simon assured Wille, interrupting the hug, and taking Willes head into both his hands. He was crying.

"We need each other, whatever the past, we need each other" Simon looked Wille straight in the eyes as he nodded. Shedding yet another tear.

"Yes, we do"

They both knew that it was never going to be like before, they were never going back to being those two lovers. But they knew that they needed each other, separated or not.
