I could see their scaly and hard skin. They had a crooked smile. Like they were up to something.

They were up to something. I stood on a metal beam, above a group of Orcs.

They were warriors working with the Unversed, trying to ship off materials for the unversed. Yes we had defeated them at the battle a year ago. Yet they were still around. So Eve Darin and I still needed to find the rest of them. I jumped down from my hiding place with daggers drawn. Surprise. I said.

It's one of them, said one of the Orcs. get him.

Most of them had axes and swords, but some had knives as well. I blocked a few slashes with my daggers, but one Orc hit me in the back with his axe. I didn't feel much, thanks to my new armor I had gotten. The armor was made up of the same stuff that Carrik had given me. It would protect me from the magic air as well as keep me safe.

It came with two arm braces, and a black leather chest plate. And a hood and cape. The style and outfit was perfect for a stealthy warrior like me. I hit the Orc who was behind me right in the leg. He stumbled to the ground. I then finished off the others.

I sheathed my daggers and walked over to the crates. I opened them up, and to my surprise, the crates held some sort of purple crystals.

"What are these things?" I thought.

Wondering what the strange crystal was. I took a few little crystal samples to bring back to home.

About a year ago we had an encounter with an old enemy named Zant. Yet he helped us in beating the unversed. There is also this great prophecy that there are four heroes that will save this place, and we found out that Zant was one of the heroes.

Since then we have rebuilt the house and turned it into a full working base of operations with weapons and maps of the world. The only problem is that we don't know the name of this world. No one does. I walked back to the house with the crystals. When I went back to the house Darin was there to greet me. He was standing on the porch leaning on one of the columns on the outside. He was wearing his new armor. It was silver and red. Almost like chain mail. Yet it had leather straps as well. I felt something brush my leg. I looked down and saw chirithy.

Chirithy was a little creature known as a Baynex. He was some sort of lemur with wings. "Hey bud." I said. Picking him up and petting his soft coat of fur.

Darin and I walked down to the mapping room. It was a room with weapons maps and books about legends and magic.

I took out one of the crystals and slid it across the table to Darin.

"I found this in a crate. A group of orcs were shipping it off to the universe. I don't know what it is."

"Neither do I.' Darin said. "Let's keep it safe for now and keep an eye on it."

We walked into the yard. We had set up a training ground for the three of us. Eve was practicing her skills with her bow.

Hitting every bullseye.

"Nice job Eve's" I said

"thanks" her smile was as bright as ever."

"Hey Eve." I said.

"How was your patrol?" she asked.

"It was good, I ran into some orcs that were shipping off some weird crystals."

"Strange," Eve said.

"It's getting late." I said, "I'm gonna go to bed."

"See ya in the morning," said Eve.
