The guards of the council gave us intense glares as we walked by them on our way to the council of magic.
Though we were still with our escorts so they never gave us too much trouble.
After a few minutes of walking, We reached a large green door with interweaving scales that made up its beautiful design.
"We will alert the council that you have arrived," said one of the guards. Still holding their threatening tone towards us.
For the next while I was just left pacing around the room, waiting for something to happen.
Raziel soon walked up to me.
She gave me a little smirk as I walked around in circles.
"Sooooo." she said. "Are you going to ask Eve to the Elven ball?"
"What?" I asked. "First of all, what's the Elven Ball?"
"Well." said Raziel. "It is a dance that happens every year around this time, where different people from all the kingdoms come together for a Ball."
"Sounds interesting." I said. "never been much of a dancer though. And why Eve?" I asked
"I've seen the way you look at her." Raziel said. "And if I do say so, the way she looks at you."
She gave off a slight chuckle.
Suddenly the doors to the room swung open, and out came the same guard from before.
"The council will see you now," he said.
Me and Raziel looked back at the other three, and we started our way upwards through the council.
We reached the top of the stairway and stepped onto the council's floor.
After all this time we were there. The council of some of the greatest magic users in history.
There were five central thrones. Each for the five different kingdoms.
And the fifth throne in the middle, sat a woman Elf engulfed in light by her glowing armor.
I assumed she was from Laxia. Home of the Light Elves.
Raziel dipped into a low bow. I soon followed.
"It is wonderful to see you again my queen." said Raziel. "I wish we could see each other under better circumstances."
"Who are they?" asked one of the elves. This Elfs armor was more stone and lava like.
Most likely the queen of Helixan.
"These are my allies," said Raziel. "They come from the void, but they have no corruption in them. They are all pure of heart."
"How are we to trust such vial people, they come from the void, where no creature is ever truly pure of heart!" spat the queen of Helixan.
"Now now," said the Queen of Laxia. "Raziel is my most trusted warrior. She has never failed me before. Let her allies speak."
"Thank you, my queen." said Raziel.
"Callum?" said Raziel. "Tell them what you know."
For the next few minutes I explained all that had happened since we came to the void.
I told them about Darin and why we are here.
"Now what do the dark elves want?" asked the queen of Laxia.
"They require these." I said. Pulling the four crystal elements out of my bag.
All the elves gasped.
I looked back at the others. Hoping they would know what to do.
