The 4th Prophecy:10 Years later (On Hold)

CHAPTER 4: JADE MOUNTAIN ACADEMY: REFLECTION

She flew onto a rock ledge where there were tons of other dragonets with their parents and a welcome banner that said Welcome to Jade Mountain Academy. 

She was so excited but she also wished she had or knew her parents. She didn't know how she got here or who she was but she came up with a name:Reflection. 

Reflection walked into a giant hall that had stalactites hanging from the ceiling some almost to the ground,at the front was a golden gong and next to it was a map of the school,there was also 2 long tables. The hall was filled with dragons and dragonets from different tribes and different ages. 

Reflection went to the map and saw there was a fighting class she smiled she couldn't wait to show the other dragonets her fighting skills. Next to the map on the left side of it was a piece of paper that showed the different winglets. 

There were 10 winglets the Ruby Winglet, Thorn Winglet, Coral Winglet, Snowfall Winglet, Moorhend Winglet, Glory Winglet, Moonwatcher Winglet, Hazel Winglet, Cricket Winglet,and the Luna Winglet. 

Reflection looked for her name and saw she was in Coral Winglet she smiled excited that she was in that one. Can you move SeaWing. Reflection looked behind her. 

There were two SandWings behind her one of them was a pale yellow that looked like the color of sand and she wore a golden necklace. The other was tan with some yellow and he had one earring in the shape of a scorpion in his left ear. Oh right sorry. 

She stepped aside. 

The SandWings went to look as they traced their talons trying to find their names and their winglets. There faces fell as they found them. 

Oh I'm in the Thorn Winglet you? He said. Cricket Winglet. She said sadly.

 Reflection left slowly leaving them in their sadness. Oh well she thought they can handle it. I mean just because there not in the same winglet doesn't mean they won't see each other and their sadness is not going to stop me from having a good time. Also we're they seriously stupid enough to think they would be in the same one. 

She decided to go explore the school so she wasn't all crammed in there with the other dragons. She walked down a hallway occasionally passing some dragonets talking. She was about to continue until she saw doorway with a sign next it that said Coral Winglet. 

She walked in and was immediately tackled by a dragon. She let out a yelp that was followed by a thud of her hitting the ground. Reflection was pinned to the cave floor and in in front of her was her attacker. 

The dragon was black and kind of dark purplish. Her wings had silver scales spaced out that looked like stars so she was obviously a NightWing but there was something different about her though she couldn't quite put her talon on it. YES! The NightWing cried out. Finally my new clawmate nice to meet you I'm Fatechanger what's your name. I'll tell you once you get off of me. Right sorry I guess I was too excited. Fatechanger stepped off of her and she stood up. I'm Reflection and I have never met a NightWing so...-she was about to say annoying but she decided to change it-enthusiastic. 

She smiled thanks now let's claim our beds. I'll take the hammock what about you? I guess that pool of water. Reflection walked over to the pool and started laying in it she closed her eyes and started to feel relaxed.

 Hey Fatechanger-you can call me Fate-well um Fate why did you choose the hammock I mean I would think a RainWing would want the hammock. Just because I'm a NightWing doesn't mean I don't like hammocks she snapped. Reflection was a little taken aback by her response. I guess nobody can be nice all the time she thought. 

Reflection got up and took a scroll from the rack and started reading. 

She suddenly felt a cold chill in the room. 

I guess you two are my new clawmates a voice snarled. They looked to the doorway and in walked an IceWing. She was silver and kind of purple,her scales looked scratched up badly,and she had piercing green eyes that reminded her of Fate's hammock. Uh yes said Fate getting up from her hammock I'm Fatechanger but you can call me Fate and that is Reflection she pointed to her with a talon who are you. Iceberg she said with a frown I'll take the rock ledge. Oh and also shouldn't you two be in the Ruby Winglet. Why? I heard it's for 2 years and down. She smirked wickedly. 

Reflection and Fate exchanged glances. 

They immediately hated Iceberg.

It was the next day and they were in history class with the Luna Winglet. They were getting introduced to everyone when there was suddenly commotion outside. Everyone went outside and walked to the Prey Center. 

A group of dragons were gathered around something that was causing a lot of noise. Fate and Reflection pushed there way to the front. Reflection looked and recognized one of the dragons. It was one of the SandWings she saw yesterday. There was an IceWing who's back was against the wall and his eyes were filled with fright. 

Why did you say those things about her he snarled.

 I didn't mean to talk about her Cactus I just saw her and....you started talking about her that's what you did he growled. Cactus tackled the IceWing. Just as he tackled him frostbreath hit Cactus's leg and fire hit the IceWing's scales. The IceWing looked at him glaring I didn't do anything and who cares if I did he growled. 

He lunged at him and the dragon known as Cactus dodged it. So you admit it Frost you did say all those things about her he hissed. Cactus looked directly into Frost's eyes glaring so hard 

Reflection thought their eyes were going to melt. 

And what if I did it's not my fault sand-snorter. Heard that one and what a wistful comment coming from a dragon with icicles for brains he growled. They threw insults at each other and started fighting again until a SeaWing had to come and break it up.

Then a dragon stepped out of the crowd. It was the other SandWing she saw yesterday the one that had the necklace on. Then she said Cactus?

 Her voice was sad and sounded a little heartbroken. She walked swiftly past the crowd. Wait Dawn come back. He was about to run away to follow her but then a group of dragons surrounded him saying he needed to get to the healing cave for his leg. 

As they walked away from the scene she thought so those are the SandWings names Dawn and Cactus hmm there is something weird about those two. I can't quite put my talon on it though. 

Hey Reflect can I call you Reflect? It was Fate. Oh um yeah you can she said getting pulled away from her thoughts. Well I was just thinking I feel like we will be friends with those dragons somehow. What? You mean the SandWings? The IceWing too. Oh and I suppose two SkyWings,a RainWing,and a MudWing oh. Actually yes but I don't know who. Well try I'm sure you can do it. Um ok. She thought hard. I got nothing sorry. 

It's fine don't worry. Suddenly as they were walking a MudWing holding a bunch of scrolls crashed into her. They fell to the floor and the scrolls scattered all over the place. I am so sorry about that I didn't see you there the MudWing started to say. No it's ok I'll help you pick up them. They started picking up the scrolls and as they bent down with a whole heap of scrolls in there claws their eyes met and they looked at each other. 

The MudWing's face turned a bright red. Reflect smiled. Here. She handed him a scroll. I'm Reflection by the way. You? Um-well-I'm-yeah-so-yup-I'm-um-uh huh-I'm Otter. He picked up all his scrolls quickly and then ran away. Weird MudWing but maybe there all like that. Reflection looked at Fate and her face lit up. That was the MudWing I told you about. Ok? And... No you don't understand Reflect. Her face was smiling so much she thought she might explode from excitement. 

Fate put her claws in Reflect's and looked at her in the eye. This changes everything.
