22.

We rush out of the sandwalker at the sound of TIE fighters overhead.

"There! Those speeders!" Poe shouts, running to hot wire them both. They roar to life as we reach him.

"How do you know how to do that?" Finn asks him, Poe doesn't respond.

"Get on the one with Rey, I'll go with Poe and Finn." I tell Galen and Maro. Galen hesitates, grabbing my hand and forcing me to look at him. "Rey has more power, you and Maro will do more good with her. Poe and the others will need help." He finally nods and hops on with Maro, Rey speeds off. I climb beside 3PO as Poe speeds away from the oncoming troopers. I ignite both my sabers as the troopers catch up on their own speeders. Galen and I make eye contact just before we both disappear into separate sides of a canyon. The troopers on the back of the speeders suddenly launch in the air, soaring above us with jet packs.

"Oh! They fly now!" 3PO shouts.

"They fly now?" Finn yells after him.

"They fly now!" Poe says in surprise, forcing the speeder to go faster. I roll my eyes and grin, I look over at Finn.

"You got the one on the speeder?" I ask him, he nods. I walk to the back of the speeder and gain a running start. I propel myself into the air with the pole sticking up from the speeder and use the force to jump up to the trooper. I spin my body around and slice the trooper in half, landing in a squat back on the speeder. Poe whips the vessel to the side just as I land, throwing the trooper's speeder now attached by a rope into the side of the canyon. They yell in celebration and Poe continues on out of the canyon.

When we reach the other side, I see Maro and Galen using an old tactic from the clone wars to fight off the remaining speeder, sword and shield. Galen squats in front of Maro, blocking blaster fire with his sabers, as Maro fires his blaster over him. The speeder explodes and Rey catches up to us.

"Did you get them all?" Poe yells to Rey. Before she can answer, the last trooper shoots an explosive at our speeders and we fly through the air. I land beside Galen on my stomach, Rey shoots the last trooper and he slams into the canyon. I look up at the stones to see a ship, one that is all too familiar.

"That's Ochi's ship, I saw it in my vision." I tell Galen, he looks up at it. Suddenly, we all begin to sink into the sands beneath us.

"Sinking fields!" Rey shouts. Galen begins to dig for me, desperately attempting to grab my hands. My head disappears beneath to sand, only to fall through into a cave system, the one that also appeared in my vision.

"This is where Ochi was trapped." I tell Galen as I look around. He stands and offers me his hand, pulling me to my feet.

"The dagger must be down here." Galen says, igniting his saber and beginning to look around. I walk toward Rey who holds her own glowing lightsaber.

"Is there something you would like to talk about, before you get your hands on a Sith dagger?" I ask her, she looks up at me in mock confusion.

"Like what?" She says.

"I felt the conflict in your Rey, your struggle." She stops to meet my eyes. "But I can also feel your power, your strength in the light side of the force. If you fall to the darkness," The picture of her from my vision flashes through my mind. "Your story won't end like mine, Rey."

"Hey! We found something!" Maro calls. Rey quickly walks away before she can answer me. I stand beside Galen as the group examines an old speeder.

"Oh my, a hex charm!" 3PO says.

"A what?" Poe says, I let out a breath.

"The emblem of a Sith loyalist." I say, everyone turns to look at Galen and I.

"This was Ochi's?" Finn asks.

"I saw this place in my vision, only I didn't know what it was until now. Ochi never left this place, Luke sensed it and that's why he came to this planet." I tell them all. Rey suddenly bends down and digs beneath the sand to reveal a dagger.

"Horrible things... happened with this." Rey says, I hold my hand out and she places it in my palm. "There's writing on it. Can either of you read it?" I shake my head.

"Vader never trained either of us to decipher this language, he always claimed it was the Emperor's request. I suspect it was a fail safe, to make sure neither of us ever had the ability to grow more powerful than him." Galen tells them, they all nod.

"We need to find a way out of here then." Maro says, starting to walk away. The sand above him begins to break and fall, Galen reaches out a hand and pulls Maro back with the force. They meet eyes and Maro nods at him before continuing to walk on. I study the two of them, confusion rising within me.

"Let's start looking too." I say to Galen, walking in the opposite direction. He follows after me, holding his saber above his head. I look back and grin at him. "It looks like you two are beginning to get along." He lets out a breath of frustration.

"Against my better judgment, yes." He says. "When you fell unconscious on the sand walker, Maro was just as fast as I was to make sure you were alright. In that way, he has gained my respect." He stops for a moment to think before rephrasing. "Some of my respect, a small, tiny bit." I laugh and he grins at me.
