"Yes."

After that weird incident with Lucy I decided to never get on her bad side. I slowly looked up at her from my English papers. She was smiling and humming to herself. I sighed and sat up straight. Really, I never thought Lucy could have a bad side to her. She's so pretty and smart and sweet.... A smile made its way onto my face thinking about it. I felt a light tap on my shoulder and turn to Lucy.

"What are you smiling about?" I gave a light smile.

"I'm thinking about you." A blush appeared on her cheeks as she gaped at me. I looked into her green eyes, how pretty. I have green eyes too, but they're nowhere near as pretty as Lucy's. Lucy's have a hint of blue around the iris and it glimmers where ever she goes.

"Carter! Lucy! Pay attention!" Our teacher, Ms. Tuff, yelled. I blinked and looked back to the board. The whole class was turned towards the back, where Lucy and I were. I blushed and focused on the board. I glance to my left for a second to see Lucy happily smiling to herself, again. Doesn't she feel the least bit embarrassed? I shook my head and changed my chain of thoughts.

*Bell rings*

The whole classroom was filled with noises as we got out of our seats.

"Your essay is due next class! Don't you dare forget!" I sighed at that. I might be smart, but that doesn't mean I like getting homework and studying.

"Wait! Carter, I'm almost done getting my stuff." I turn to Lucy furiously shoving her stuff in her bag. She had her tongue slightly sticking out, red cheeks, and a look of utter concentration on her face. I chuckled and walked beside her. I set my books and looked at her mess of a bag. She let go of the books and frowned. Her green eyes glimmered with worry of missing lunch break. I pulled out some of her books and ordered them from biggest to smallest in that huge bag of hers. She sighed in relief.

"Thank you and sorry for making you do this." I smiled.

"It's okay. Oh, and why don't you ever get embarrassed when we get caught in class? Not to be rude, I'm just wondering." She laughed.

"I always used to get in those situations with my boyfriend at my old school. At first I would always blush and get flustered, but then I realized theres no reason to be. Until," Her smile faded. I can't help but feel like it had something to do with her 'boyfriend'. I don't know why, but hearing that she had one made me pissed off. I furrowed my eyebrows and pouted. She blinked.

"What is it?" She picked up her stuff and we started walking out of class. I sighed shuffling with my books.

"Nothing. It's just that, hearing that you had a boyfriend gets me angry." She blinked and smirked.

"Are you...jealous?" She started wiggling her eyebrows and I laughed. She smiled and I stood by my locker.

"I don't know, maybe. If this is what jealousy feels like, than I most probably am." She leaned on the lockers.

"How can you admit it so normally?" I shrug.

"Guess it's because I've never felt 'jealous' before." I added air quotes at the 'jealous'. She nodded.

"Alright. Well, I'll go put my stuff in my locker and be right back." I nodded. She pushed herself off the lockers and walked away, her wavy blonde hair swaying behind her. Her hair was really long. It's until her thigh, just all blonde. How pretty! The only thing she has in her hair was a red bow head band, she doesn't tie her hair. I wonder why? I put my hand on my chin as I think about it. I feel a tap on my shoulder and look up happily, to be met with disappointment. It wasn't Lucy. It was Mark, the 'popular jock' in our school. While I prefer to think of him as the 'popular jerk' rather than a jock.
