Chapter 3

It was 6:30 only a few people left at the office. She had been working for nine hours staright. She was not like most people she was good at numbers and computers and she was fast. Scarlet looked up at the time seeing she needed to leave and head to university. She had a late English class she had signed up for. Seeing she was already a bit behind the time she didn't want to make a bad impression on Mr. Styles so she headed to his office really not in the mood for small talk.

"Enter" a deep raspy voice called
"Yeah Mr. Styles I'm here can we be quick I have somewhere to be " she looked at him impatiently
"Have I upset you Ms. James I hear a hint of hostility in your voice " he said standing up from his chair.

She batted her eyes and simply replied " Not at all just a bit tired so about the welcome wagon"

"Ah, yes are you allergic to anything anything at all"

"No well just any type of nut."

"Alright no nuts okay Ma'am you are all set thank you have a nice night." He said walking toward the light to turn it off

"That's all" she said in confusion

"Well yes you said you were busy and I don't want to keep you from your plans. I'll just make any other desicions." He said with a smile

"Okay..." She said a bit confused with him but she didn't want to think to much about it.

She headed down to the elevator leaving him in his office and headed to university.

This English course was important to her. Although she never told any of the people she knew she wanted to be a writer but given her situation it was disaproving for her to do anything else but complete tasks she was given.
She chose night class to make sure Tommy didn't find out or tell anyone she was studying.

She entered the class room and noticed only a few people were sitting. She didn't like to interact with anyone so she sat in the corner of the room. The professor entered but did not speak until the time was 8:00.

She was sitting patiently until someone familiar came in and sat right across from her.

What the hell, she thought to herself

"Alright ladies and gentleman we will begin class by having you write an essay on heroism and villany. Choose a side and then support your argument. Turn in your papers please write your ID number and another peer will give it a grade and comment. That is all thank you once you finish class is dismissed"
She was the first to finish the essay, she turned it in and was out the door.

"Holy shit!!!! You scared the crap out of me Tommy." She said as she entered her apartment
"How the hell did you even get in. I didn't give you a key." She asked

"Toots you are seriously asking that question to a man who can get in and out of any place without being seen." He said with a smirk

"Funny you say that because you weren't so smooth last night. I even lost my pin because we almost were caught. I told you I didn't want to do that kind of job you know what happened last time we were almost caught." Scarlet said in annoyance

"Yeah well I didn't come here to apologize. I came at 7 to talk you about a message the boss had but you weren't here. Where were you?"

"None of your god damn business. Last time I checked you weren't in charge of me." Scarlet remarked

"Look toots I am trying to help you if the boss knew you were out taking a class at Uni you would be.... Well let's just say in deep shit." He said holding up a letter from NYU admission letter

"Look Tommy I am trying to make something of myself. Fuck!! I want out!!!"
"Woah SJ you know that's not an option. I don't think you should be saying that out loud. You know the boss better than anyone. Just be careful." He said walking toward the door.
"You know I'm your only friend and I care for you even though I am an ass to you but I really need you to be smart. "

With that said he closed the door behind him and she was left in a empty room filled with silence.

8:00 a.m

"So Liam how's your engineering class?" Harry asked

"Its great mate. Top of my class." He said with a smile
"Liam its barely been two weeks"
"What can I say mate the professor loves me. Are you enjoying class Styles?" Liam said after taking a bite of his French toast

"Yeah. It's only been one class so far buts is going pretty well. We are grading one another's paper."

"Jesus mate I don't know how you go to night and day classes and have time for work."

"Its not that difficult Liam. Now if you'll excuse me I have to head to work. Breakfast was on me I'll see you tonight for the party." He said placing the cash on the table.

Harry dropped of the essay he had graded to his professor and headed to work.

Scarlet knew she was on thin ice with the boss and Tommy knew about her other plans. She knew she needed to get the codes and get them fast.

After working in the office for three hours she decided to get a quick coffee break. As she headed to the lounge room she over heard Mr. Styles talking on the phone.
"Yes Ms. Jenkins I need the file to be transfered by tomorrow night. I can't have them next week we need the delivery soon. We don't want other companies knowing what is in our stock factories."
She knew exactly what shipment he was talking about. That's the reason she was assigned to the job. But she needed to act quickly or else the whole thing will be up in smoke before she even got the chance. She walked away hoping no one saw her over hearing anything.

Not to long after Harry walks by her cubicle. "Miss James I need you to finish these files. Each of them typed and filed. If you have any questions ask Mr. Lover boy."

"And who may that be Styles." She said with a smile

"Hey its Mr. Styles I earned that title. Well haven't you noticed Dean over there he hasn't stopped starring at you." He said nodding his head into his direction.

"Hmmm couldn't I just ask you." She said with a cheeky grin
"Well no that's why I asked you to do it so I may finish what I have to do."

" Its fine I don't need anyone's help any way "she said with a smirk

"Everyone needs help Miss James even the brightest. Have fun with lover boy." He said walking away.

If she didn't know any better she could have sworn he was flirting with her. With that thought in mind she thought of something low and malicious. It wasn't something she would be proud of doing but that's the only way for her ass to be saved. She was going to get the codes through the man who has them himself. She was going to seduce Harry Styles.
