I woke up a bit dizzy and my eyesight was a bit blurry when I opened them. I sat up looking around for Sophie and finding her still on the floor sleeping remembering that I had pushed her off the bed. I stand up rubbing my eyes and walk to the bathroom. I brush my teeth and comb my hair, unknotting the knots. I wash my face and my hands and exit the bathroom. I walk slowly downstairs and into the livingroom and then out the doors to check my mail. The invitations seemed to have been given out because I got a few reply letters in return. I took them out and walked back in the house. I closed the doors and layed out on the couch as I opened up the first letter. It read: "Dear Zoey, Thanks for the invitation. I'm sure to be there. I like the fact that it's glow in the dark. Oh and make sure to put on some awesome music. Your vamp, Dani. "

I smiled reading Dani's letter and put it aside and opened the next one. "Dear Zoey, I'm so coming to your party. We haven't talked in a long time and I'm glad we can see each other again. Make sure to have my favorite chips. Love, Chloe."  It's true, Chloe and I haven't talked in a long time and I wanted to see her again. I didn't want to ruin our friendship by the lack of seeing each other. She was a very nice vampire. Although, she never was born as one. Her parents are humans, she was bitten. She was walking with her parents one day and she was snatched by a vamp and she was bitten. I know because I was there. I was the one to save her from the torture and I tried taking the venom out but it was too late. As fast as I could, I told her the do's and dont's and what's wrong and what's right and whatever else I could before I took her back to her parents that were looking for her.

From that day on she has never stopped thanking me until a little while later when we were really close. I have never forgotten that day. The expression on her face: Saddness, fear, confusion, horror, everything all combined. The funny and incredible thing is that her parents still don't know. After I brought her back to her parents I had to fight of the other vamp myself. I put that letter aside interrupting my thoughts and opened up the last one. "Hey of course I'm coming to your party! Why wouldn't I go! Anyways I can't beleive it's glow in the dark, I love glow in the dark! You better have food I like because I'm coming really hungry! Your friend, Charlie." Oh that Charlie is crazy. He's an awesome friend but he's crazy. He didn't even start the letter with Dear Zoey or anything like that. But he's an awesome party person. In parties, he's the guy you want to hang out with. I put the last letter with the others and turn on the t.v. I checked for the time at the clock above the t.v. and see that it is 4:30 in the afternoon. I always wake up late in the afternoon or at night. I don't do mornings.

I while later Sophie comes out of the blue yawning and stretching. I curl up my legs giving her space to sit on the couch. "One question. Why did I wake up on the couch?" She asks. "Uh...I have no idea." I reply.  "Yeah sure."She says and I start to giggle quietly. "Why'd you push me off?" She asks hitting my shoulder. "Because I was tired and I wanted the bed to myself." I say. She rolls her eyes and watches the t.v. with me. "Hey I let Fip out to eat." She says. I nod keeping my eyes on the t.v. We keep watching the t.v. and laugh. "About half an hour later Sophie speaks. "Hey shouldn't we be getiing ready for the party?" She asks.  "Oh shit that's right! What time is it?" I ask looking at the clock. "Oh God! We gotta start like...Now!" I say getting up. "Wait what about your parents?" She asks. "Oh that's right. Um..." I say. Coincidently Mother and Father come in with luggages and suitcases. "Ok girls. We're leaving. We'll call you, make sure to pick up." They say and head out the double doors as we say goodbye.

Sophie and I look at each other and smile. We dash up the stairs and I enter my room and go into my wardrobe taking out the stuff Sophie bought. We dash back downstairs and settle everything down on the livingroom floor. "So...where do we begin?" Sophie asks. We both smirk and at the speed of light we decorate the house and put everything in place and order. The chips in bowls on the table, the sodas and cups on the tables and everything else where it belongs. Soon enough, the house looked decorated enough for a party. "So where do we put the smoke machine?" Sophie asks. "Uh maybe over by the wall." I say pointing to a little corner to my left. "Maybe we can put it over there." She says pointing by the fireplace. "No! I mean...no. Let's...let's not put it there." I say. I don't want her close to the fireplace. She might find out my secret place.
