The Predator and The Prey

Chapter 20

"Hey what took you so long?" Zoey asked me. "Uh...I couldn't find them." I say. I set the chips down quickly and jump in the pool. Harry was really devastated. It hurt me to see him like that. "Ok ladies! Our gentlman will model for us now!" Chloe yells. All the guys got out of the pool. Chloe got out to and whispered something to them which I can't hear over the loud music. They get in one line and do a sexy pose. "Oh hold on! Let me get my camera!" Zoey yells and gets out of the pool. She quickly goes inside the house and then comes back with her camera. She sits at the edge of the pool and turns it on.

She puts a thumbs up to Chloe and Chloe smiles and sits next to Zoey. "First up is Mikey J!" She yells over the loud music. Mikey J starts to walk down as if it was a runway. We all cheered and clapped. "Next up is Charlie!" Chloe yells. Charlie walks down also and then stands next to Mikey J. "And now last but not least, Dani!" Chloe yells. Dani also walks down "the runway" and at the end strikes a sexy pose making us clap and cheer loud. Zoey video taped the whole thing. "Who do you think was the best out of all of them girls?" Chloe asks. We all look at each other and smile. "Dani!" We yell in unison.

Mikey J runs and then jumps in the pool. Dani walks over to Chloe and tickles her and Charlie goes over to Zoey and picks her up making Zoey scream and laugh. He then throws her in the pool. "Charlie my camera!" She yells holding up her camera but Charlie just laughs and then we all laugh. So I guess Zoey totally forgot about Harry, and I wanna keep it that way.

Zoey's POV

"I'm gonna get you for this Charlie!" I yell and get out of the pool. I chase Charlie and then I finally get him. "Ok you got me, what are you gonaa do now?" He asks. "Honestly I have no idea." I say giggling. I set the camera at the edge of the pool and then jump in and Charlie jumps in after. As I swim to the other end of the pull Charlie grabs my leg startling me. "Charlie!" I yell and he laughs. He pushes me to the edge of the pool and presses his body against mine and bites his lip. He leans in but I put my hands on his chest stopping him.

"Charlie don't be stupid."I say. "It was worth a try." He says shrugging his shoulders. "You know this won't work out. We're friends and I want to keep it that way ok?" I say and he nods. I swim away from him and go over to my camera and open it. Water comes out of it and it's all wet inside. Well that sucks.

Harry's POV

"Mum I don't know what to do anymore." I say. "Harry don't worry about her. Forget about her already. She dumped you and it's her loss. Not yours. Harry you're an incredible man and I think you should move on with your life." "You're right mum." "Tell you what Harry, you're about to move so when you do, you're going to become a different person so you can forget about Zoey and move on with your life." "I'll do that mum. Thanks." "You gotta cheer up Harry. You can't worry about her forever."

"I'm already over her mum." "Good." "Oh but mum!" "What now Harry?!" "She was so beatiful! I can't get over her!" "Why Harry?" "I kind of.....have her virginity." "Uh...I don't know how to respond to that Harry. I didn't even know you were sexually active." "Seriously mum!" "Harry, just forget about her. Watch some t.v., read a book. I don't know. Do something to keep your mind off of Zoey ok?" "Sure." Mum leaves the room and closes the door. I turn on the t.v. and keep packing.

I pack the other half of my room and it looks empty. I push all the boxes out to the livingroom. If only Zoey was here to help me. No Harry. She's out of your life already Harry. Stop thinking about her. I take out my phone and decide to text Niall.

Me: Hey man I'm finally moving!

Nialler: That's awesome!

Me: Mind helping me out?

Nialler: Yeah sure I'll be there in about 30 minutes.

Me: Thanks man.

Nialler: No Prob

"Hey mum Niall's coming over to help me move." I yell. "Already? But it's so early!" Mum says coming out of the kitchen. "I got nothing to do mum. I think the faster I move the better it will be for me mum." "You're right. Whatever you want Harry." Mum says and goes back into the kitchen.

After a half hour Niall walks inside the house without even knocking on the door. "Hey Niall these are the boxes." I say and point to the boxes. Niall carries one box and puts it in his car.

He grabs more boxes and puts them in his car and when they don't fit anymore we start to pack things into my car. We get in out cars and drive over to my new flat. When we arrive I open the door and we start to set things down in the livingroom. "Dude this place is huge!" Niall yells. We finish setting the stuff down and then we head back.

"Thanks Niall." "Yeah I'll come back if you need anything." "Sure thanks." He leaves and I go inside and into my room.

Zoey's POV

It gets dark and my mother is back.

Everyone's gone except Sophie of course. It's pretty quiet in the house.

I hop in bed and Sophie turns off the lights and grabs the doorknob. I stop her before she opens the door. "Sophie I can't sleep." I whisper. "Zoey forget about him." She whispers back.

I sit up. "Sophie it's not that easy. I loved Harry and now he's gone." "Zoey you were doing perfectly fine without him." Sophie sits next to me. "I know Sophie but.......No. I'm acting stupid and weak. I dumped him and it was for soemthing he did. For a good cause." "Yes now Go.To.Sleep." Sophie gets up and leaves. I lay down after she closes the door and I fall asleep after a few minutes.
