The next morning, she decides to go to Sasuke's apartment without texting him. Going at about 10 in the morning, she knocks on his door. Hearing him stomp a little and dropping some cans on his floor, which was not like him, he opens it after a few minutes, but presents himself minimally only in his boxers. He stank real bad of alcohol and more....but he could care less at the moment.

"Oh.... you're home!" she says surprised, and caught a little off guard faced with his bare abs.

"Yeeaah....what are you doing here?" he says sleepily, holding his head with a hint of irritation.

"I just..came to see you. I didn't see you last night."

"Was I suppose to check in with you or something?" There's a slight pause between them. Silence. 'Check in..?' she thought to herself. 'What's that supposed to mean?'

"N-no...nothing like that. I just...thought you would've said hi or something."

"Well...I didn't." They stay there quietly again, until he says, "Is that all you want?" he says kind of bothered, and wanting to go back to what he was doing. Sleeping.

"Well...y-yeah...I guess so."

"Great." he answers with attitude, and slams the door in her face, making her stutter back a bit, not expecting him to do that.'What the- Did I do something wrong? Is he....mad at me?' she wondered. She's about to knock on the door again and bother him once more...but....she stops herself, and decides to leave it alone for now, and goes back home. As she comes in, Kakashi in the same spot on the couch says,

"So....how'd it go?" She gives him annoyed eyes, and heads into the kitchen and pulls out her bottle of strawberry milk. "I told you to let him be...didn't I?" he adds.

Still not answering, she takes out a glass and pours herself a nice cold one, and takes in the perfect flavor that never fails her. Taking a deep breath, she stays quiet, and didn't want to admit that what Kakashi said may have been true. He hadn't been paying much attention to her since he had met Yukino...and she was happy for him, thrilled even!....but now having been broken up with her....why was he acting like this? Why would he act so bothered by her presence when she's been trying to be there for him? What was this sadness...emptiness she was getting from him? It was bothering her very much.

The weeks pass, and every time she would text him, he would either not respond, or would respond waaay later with a poor, short answer like: 'Not today' or a 'I'll pass.' It was really starting to tick her off after everything that she was trying to do for him as far as support. Talking to Ino about it didn't really help either. It seemed the relationship between them two really had broken up after the wedding. It was saddening her to say the least, and she just wished everything would go back to the way it use to be. Still having his birthday/Christmas gift, she wanted to give it to him already.
It was about 8 pm after her class on a Thursday, and she was going to pay Sasuke another visit. Going home first to pick up the gift, she decided for once to use one of their drivers. As they pulled into the parking lot, she sees someone's car in his parking spot, but she thinks nothing of it.

"I'll be back 5 minute tops." she tells the driver as she was getting a hold of his gift.

"No worries Ms. Hatake. Take your time."

She gives a nod and starts heading upstairs. Reaching his door, she puts up her hand in a fist ready to knock on his door, but then she stops. Hearing faint noises through the door, she freezes. 'Aaah...aahh...aahh...fuuuuck yesss...' ..then at the same time 'Ghh!...ha!...ha!' are the sounds that were reaching her ears. She gulps, takes a step back, and goes back downstairs, gripping the gift tightly. Coming back to the car in kind of a rush, the driver checks his back mirror.

"Everything alright Miss?"

Making herself smile, she says, "Y-yes, yes everything's fine. He just wasn't home is all. Take me home, please."
