Chapter 13

"Come on love, we're here." Says Aidan nudging me awake. "I don't wanna get up." I mumble. I hear him laugh, and then he picks me up as a baby and lifts me up out of the plane. He puts me down and together we walk to the spot to pick up our luggage. He grabs our bags and together we're gonna search for a cab to bring us to the hotel. "I must say it is so beautiful here." He says breathing in the cold winter air. I make a snowball and throw it at him. He laughs, "Are you trying to kill me?" He says, I giggle, he grabs a hand full of snow and puts it in my coat. I jump up and down, "Cold cold cold cold." I squirm, he laughs real loud. "Oh hey a taxi, TAXI." He shouts.

"I'm so tired I could just fall asleep here." I say leaning my head on his lap, "Baby, you've done nothing but sleeping." "I don't care, I just want to sleep all the time." "How are we gonna see Canada then ey?" He says with a chuckle, "Go on without me." I mumble, closing my eyes. "Nope, I'm going to take you deep into the woods of Canada and kiss you." I smile at his cuteness, "But Aidy I wanna sleep." "A nickname?! That's new." He laughs, I cuddle up closer against him. Before I know it my eyelids drop and I fall asleep.

"Baby, baby, wake up." Something is nudging me in my side. "Go away." I mumble, and continue trying to sleep on. "Honey, wake up." Something soft presses against the temple of my head. "Fuck off." I say, "Have it your way!" I hear the voice say, and then footsteps fading away. I snuggle into my pillow again, happy to be left alone. And then, cold water spraying all over me. I jump up, noticing I'm in a bed and not in a taxi anymore. "WHAT THE HELL?!" I shout to Aidan who's holding a now empty glass. "I tried to wake you up the cute way, but you didn't want to wake up!" I grunt and fall back on the bed, "Oh no you don't!" He says grabbing me by my waist and helping me up. "Take a shower love, you smell." "Why are you always so wise." I say while grabbing some clean clothes out of my trunk that I suppose Aidan opened. I take my little box of pills with me and I tuck in the pocket of my jeans, hoping Aidan won't see me taking them with me. "After you finished taking a shower what shall we do then?" He says kissing my neck oh so carefully. "You wanted to go hiking, we can go hiking." "Seems wonderful to me." He kisses me shortly and then lets me leave for the shower.

I tie my blond hair up in a big messy bun, and put on a white t-shirt and a fuzzy warm blue hoodie. I put on some blue faded jeans and then look at my reflection. I sigh as I see the small scar fading already a bit, I remember the day I got that scar. It was the day before I got saved.. Jack hit my head against the wall so hard that I got knocked out. That's why I barely remember anything of the day I got saved. I get 4 pills out of the little box and swallow them down with some water. The feeling of relief washes over me again. It's like my whole day is living up to that point of the day. I hide the little box behind some towels in a cupboard.

"You ready love?" I hear Aidan ask, I open the door with a smile, "Totally." "You look stunning my love, now I remember why you're the only one I wanna share my life with." I smile down, he lifts up my head slowly and kisses me tenderly. "Oh how I love you Saphie." He whispers, "Oh how I love you, Aidy." I say teasing him a bit, he laughs. "Of all nicknames you just had to choose that one." "I thought you liked it!" I say pouting a bit, "Don't worry love, you can call me whatever you wanna call me."
