Chapter 14

Saphira POV

"I must say, this is so beautiful.." I say looking around me, as Aidan said he took me deep into the woods of Canada, and dear lord it's beautiful. "It really is, I'm happy we did this Saphie." "It's so quiet. No paparazzi or anything, I like it." He smiles, "Come on we still gotta reach the top of the mountain!" He starts walking again, I smile a bit. He's so cute..

"Saph! Look what I found!" I suddenly hear Aidan yell. I walk towards him to see him standing confront of a wooden bridge made out of logs. "This looks so amazing!" He says, "Mr Turner I must say, you are so cute when you're happy." He laughs, "But that's because I'm with the most lovely woman in the world. And I couldn't't live without her." I smile, "So what do you wanna have for dinner tonight? I saw a shop and I just thought to myself: I just need to cook an amazing meal for an amazing woman." I was sure I couldn't smile anymore but apparently I could! I totally forgot the fact that he could cook!

Once we're in our room Aidan starts working on the food, which he keep a surprise, and I am gonna watch a movie. Big Hero 6. Oh how I love this movie, it's so loveable. Everyone loves each other so much.

I walk up to Aidan and hug him from behind, "How's the food going?" "I'm doing just fine, just go and watch your movie again baby tonight I'll let you relax. You deserve to." I giggle at his cuteness, "Okay, but tomorrow I'm looking after you." He smiles, "You don't have to but if you want to, be my guest baby." I jump up a little "Yay! When you're finished cooking come and join me."

After a little while Aidan comes out the kitchen with two plates, and it smells delicious. "Oh my god, what did you make?!" I say grabbing a plate out of his hand. I sniff at it, "It smells delicious!" I guickly grab my fork and start eating it, this is definitely the best pasta I've ever had!

After our dinner we clean up and take a walk outside, the stars are shining bright this night. It looks magical. I grab his hand we and we walk down the garden together. "Saphie, you know that I love you very much right?" I laugh, "Yeah you tell me every day, don't worry I love you more." He smiles and gives me a quick peck on my lips. "You call that a kiss?" I say expecting more, "Oh sorry, madam." He says mocking, he leans forward and kisses me fiercly. After a while I feel his tongue slide into my mouth and playing with mine. I slow down the kiss and end it with a quick peck. "That wasn't so hard now, was it?" I say with a grin, he smiles, "Let's go back to the hotel."

The next day we decide to go snowboarding, which I have never done so that was a whole new experience. Also because I fell the whole time.. Aidan picked me up every time I fell, and I felt pretty sorry for him cause he had to look after me the whole time.

"Saph do you want something, before we go back?" He asks me, we're looking around in a cute little shop. "Oh no, I'm fine." I say with a smile, "Really Saph? I'm fine with buying you a little something." "No, honestly I'm fine!" I say sliding my hand in his, "Okay baby."

I visit a supermarket to get some supplies for the dinner I'm making Aidan tonight. I'm gonna make Ethiopian food, my parents once gave me the spices needed for the food when they went on a journey to Ethiopia. I only had to buy a lot of eggs, some white bread, and garlic and onions. Once at our room again I toast the white bread, and I make scrambled eggs out of the eggs but I mix it with the spices I got from my parents. Which is called "berbere" basically it's very hot and made out of the hottest peppers. I mix it with the baked onions and garlic and put it in a bowl.

"Okay so it's smelling delicious what on earth did you make?!" "It's called 'Ethiopian Eggs' I don't know if it's the official name but my parents learned me to make it." I put the bowl of eggs and the sliced toast on the table. "Okay, so you can't eat it with knife and fork, you gotta eat this with your hands." "With my hands?!" I laugh at him being so disgusted by it. "Yeah you just grab a slice of toast you grab a bit of egg with it and stuff it in your mouth!" I demonstrate it and he looks a bit curious and disgusted at the same time. "Okay.. I'll try.." He grabs a slice, and I gotta hold in my laughter because god his face is amazing. He stuffs it in his mouth and chews for a while after he swallows he says: "THIS IS SO GOOD!" And I can't find myself to stop laughing.

Then my phone rings, it reads: "Mom" I pick up the phone still laughing a bit, "Hi mom!" I say but I get sobs as a reply. "Mom? Please talk to me! What's wrong?" "It's your dad." Just that one sentence can freeze everything. "What's wrong?" Noticing my smile was quickly replaced by tears. I wipe them away quickly, but they're replaced by new ones immediately. "My baby girl.. He can't remember her anyone.." She cries and cries, "Mom. Don't make jokes. Dad would never forget Layla." My sobs are growing lounder and louder. "MOM THIS ISN'T FUNNY!" I yell trough the phone, "Please come back Saph, we need you." I hear my mom crying, she hangs up.
I throw the phone across the room screaming no several times. Aidan appears from out of the kitchen. "Saph? What's wrong?" I hug him tightly. "My dad can't remember Layla." I say while my tears are almost forming a river with the amount of it flowing down. "I need to go back Aidan, I'm sorry I ruined our whole trip.." "Baby it's okay, your family is more important at the moment."

We quickly book 2 New tickets that allows us to leave the beautiful country of Canada. "I swear Saffie, we will come back and finish this vacation. Okay love?" I simply nod, and I keep silent for the entire journey back home.

I feel like a monster for doing this omg, why is this story affecting me so much?! I must say this took a long time to write cause at first I wasn't happy with how it turned out so I rewrote it. But I hope you enjoyed it, and yeah please comment, vote, follow and fan ^^
