(Author's Note: enjoy a salty Dre McIntyre as the chapter photo for no reason what so ever.)
I only have a couple of minutes before I go out on stage again, meeting RK-Bro for real this time. I wanted to rehearse but I just can't seem to get the image of Randy's smile out of my head-  'Stop itself, you need to stay professional.' I think. "🎵I hear voices in my head they council me the-🎵" Randy's theme hits and the announce table goes off with comments like "oh no" and "where's Riddle?" I assume he's waiting for us because my music hits and he's already in the ring when RIddle and I come out on his scooter. Randy tries his best not to laugh and break kayfabe but I can tell he's struggling.
Randy rolls his eyes at us and begins to speak.
"Now Riddle, are we here to be serious and get things done?" He pauses and kinda licks his teeth, odd but okay. "Or is this one of your women "friends" who won't be around for long?"
"Ran-" I cut Riddle off.
"Woah Woah Woah, let's not be mean to Riddle here, I mean after all you guys did come to watch my match-" I try to keep myself from shrinking back under Randy's threatening gaze, I mean the teeth thing was kinda- no, keep it promo safe.
"Yeah Randy! And weren't you the one who said we should go see her? After all,
you've been watching her tryouts all week!" Riddle began gaining a sudden boost of confidence "And, and you said she had "good form" whatever that means."
A lot of "oohs" and "oh's" can be heard from the crowd. Rightfully so, this was definitely not in the script, and from the look on Randy's face, you can tell he was not in on it. I honestly feel like stirring the pot a bit so I decide to weigh in.
"So it really is true then?" I smirk, earning a confused look from Randy and an encouraging smile from Riddle. "I didn't want to believe Riddle at first but it seems you really are obsessed with me eh Legend Killer?" I steal some of Riddle's confidence and push Randy slightly on the shoulder.
Any script we had was definitely shredded. Vince will either eat this up or fire us all, but the fans love it so hopefully he does too...
"Really Riddle?" Randy tries to get back on topic but it seems like something is digging at him.
Maybe Riddle didn't just say that for ratings...
"What's the matter, Afraid your little crush just got exposed?" I asked, that was definitely too far...
"Ya know what, I like you." He pauses for a moment and my skin begins to crawl. "No, no, no, not like that! I mean you've got something that not a lot of other women on the card have. I've seen you train. With that I'd like to offer you a place with us on RK-Bro." He finishes.
What a relief, I'm guessing he meant when he was a witness to the fight I had with Seth... that's not something I want to relive right now....
"Yeah I'll join." I say nonchalantly, the crowd has lost it at this point.
Randy shakes my hand. With that Riddle scoops me up and hoists me into the air. We are now officially the RK-BroS! The second we get backstage Vince can be heard having a fit with the production team.
"You three, in here. NOW!" Vince yells.
Oh great now we've done it. I just hope Riddle and Randy don't lose their jobs. I couldn't care less about myself.
"Mr. McMahon, I take full responsibility for all of that, fire me, not them." I say quickly.
Riddle looks distraught and Randy just looks... impressed. It seems as Vince catches Randy's look and his anger turns to a soft smile, possibly THE scariest face I've seen McMahon pull.
"Fire you? Why would I do that? You three just cut the best ad libbed tag-team promo I've ever heard. The crowd ate it up, it was really believable, where did that come from.?" Vince rambles in amazement.
"I- uh-" Randy mumbles.
"Take a seat Orton," I smirk slightly. "Me and Riddle thought it up, to embarrass Randy a bit. Just for some good fun." By the look I got from Randy his face was a mix of thankfulness and understanding. Orton knows it came from Riddle, better than Vince turning this "relationship" drama into a super awkward storyline.
"Well anyways, that was risky. Even though you three pulled it off, I NEVER want to see it again. You have any changes you want to make, you come to me."
"Yes sir." Me and Riddle reply in unison.
Randy just kinda laughs. We all leave Vince and he returns to the production team. On our way back to the locker rooms I see Seth talking to Becky and memories come flowing back to me. From when I used to be Becky... now she and Seth have a baby, lord how time flies and people change.
