"I'm sorry WHAT" you slammed your hands on your bosses table in shock as to what he just asked you "look I know it's a little strange to ask but please y/n it's only for a week or two" he cupped his hands together ushering you to sit back down in your seat that was placed at the other side of his desk "so your asking me to... take monty home with me for A WEEK OR- TWO???"  "Technically yes" he replied to you nonchalantly with his arms crossed.

Now I bet you're wondering how you got yourself In this situation after what happened between you and Monty well let's take a step back a few days ago to a phone call.

'BZZZ' 'BZZZ' 'BZZZ'

"hello who is this?" you asked while rubbing the sleep out of your eyes checking the time to see that it was 7 in the morning "Hey y/n it's Marcus", Marcus was a friend of yours from work, he and you were usually assigned together when doing a two man job.

"Oh Hey Marcus why are you calling me so early in the morning" you sat up and stretched your arms assuming it was a work call, maybe he needed you to come in early today or something, "oh uh boss told me to call you to say that you had the rest of the week off or something like that so uhh don't bother coming into work today or tomorrow ok?" He informed you

"But it's only Sunday why?" you question him wondering what you had done to get such a long break well I mean it's not like you weren't happy about it you were just a little bit confused as to why,

"Well I'm not really sure why ether but i think he just wants to give you a break you know?, I mean you do come into work almost every day even if you are late sometimes you still work you ass off even when your not feeling well or look really worn out so think of this as a thank you for working so hard from him I guess" he said the last part like he was personally thanking you for something "oh well tell him that I said I appreciate it and that I don't mind coming in to work every day" you slightly chuckle to yourself not expecting you'd ever actually be happy working a 6 hour job almost every day .

"Alrighty then I'll make sure I remember to call him later and tell him that," there was silence on the other end of the phone till he spoke up "I guess I should let you go now have a good night er morning I'll see you next Monday man am I gonna miss your pretty face a-anyways umm bye" before you could reply or even ask what he meant by that he hung up on you "oh well that phone call was... eventful" you sighed standing up to close your curtains to block out the sun light.

'Well I might as well go back to sleep' you thought to yourself while walking back over to your nice comfy bed and hopping in it while wrapping your head up sinking into it slowly drifting back to sleep

TIME SKIP TO NEXT MONDAY~~~~~~~~~~

You woke up stretching a bit ready to go back to work after your break, you did your usual morning routine brushing your teeth washing your face getting dressed and doing your hair you slipped on your shoes grabbing your work bag and heading out the door. The ride there wasn't too long a good 10 minutes but hey at least you weren't late this time.

You pulled up to the pizza plex getting out of you car locking it while walking up to the door,you were about to reach out towards the door handle to pull it open but before you could even lay a finger on it you got pulled inside a hard grip on your wrist once again,

you swore if you didn't have a bruise already on your wrist you definitely had one now, you were about to scream until you noticed it was just your boss. But where was he taking you and what was so important?

He pushed you into his office while closing the door behind him with his foot before you could even muster a word he blurted out "You need to take Monty for a couple of days" while sitting down in front of you crossing his arms. well now that your all caught up.....

"Wha! I just came back what could be so serious is something wrong with him did something happen when I was gone?" You asked worrying about Monty "Actually yes something did happen ever since I hired you he's been acting strange he's more aggressive, more destructive when you're not around" he paused looking at you suspiciously.

"You see the real reason why I gave you such a long break is because I wanted to see how he would behave and how he would react and I was right he's attached to you in some kinda way" he started leaning back in his chair "so I want you to take him home with you and tell me how he behaves with you, and try to fix his aggression and destructiveness he's starting to scare our customers" he stopped talking to let you process what you just heard

"So you want me to study his behaviour?" "Yes and find a way to stop him from being so aggressive I don't want this to escalate"

"B-but sir I don't think I can take him, my house is far too small for such a big thing like him and we're not even sure if he's okay with this idea"

"Look y/n I know this is a hard requested to make but please this is for our company if you don't do this " he looked you dead in your eyes you could tell he wasn't joking about this at all, he was serious. "We might have to decommission him. I was serious about his aggressiveness we might even have replace him so please y/n I'm relying on you to fix him" he said in a stern tone making you shutter in your seat "look I just need you to watch his behaviour and make reports on it".

He lent back in his spinny chair getting comfortable "and plus I know he'll be comfortable with you he barely lets anyone touch him except for you
So please y/n I'll pay you extra" he raised an eyebrow looking at you with a smirk holding out his hand for you to shake it "Deal".

You sighed there no getting out of this one you look him in his eyes and raised your hand to shake his "Deal" i smiled back hiding the anxiety knowing that Monty would be in my house alone with me....i mean what's the worst that could happen right?

Ok so I this chapter took forever but slayyyyyy I'm gonna take a small break but I'll be back SOON 😩
