Jenius yang Rendah Hati [Hiatus]

Volume 1 - Chapter 3 - Part 3

The introductions made by my friends took about 12 minutes to complete. The students in this class have many diverse traits, some are enthusiastic, some are calm, some are quite serious, some even I see have a tendency to be difficult to get along with, but still within safe limits in my opinion. During the introductions, I also started to memorize every name of my classmates because this would be very useful for building relationships with them, especially those with antisocial tendencies who were a little difficult to approach.

"OK. Thank you for your participation in this class introduction. Wow, looks like we've put 12 minutes into this activity. There were still about 6 more minutes before the admission ceremony started. If so, for now I will end it here. After this, please go directly to the auditorium to take part in the new student acceptance ceremony."

After I closed the meeting this time, some students who had a tendency to be alone got up from their seats and started walking out of the classroom, while other students who had a tendency to be together began to form groups with each other to go to the auditorium together.

"Hey, Tsukasa. Want to go stuff with us?"

Hearing my name being called, I looked in the direction where the voice came from and saw a smiling person named Sou Shibata looking at me waving. Beside Sou Shibata there is a male student sitting in front of my seat named Ryuji Kanzaki. From the previous self-introductions, I saw that Sou Shibata had an enthusiastic and cheerful nature while Ryuji Kanzaki had the attitude of an exemplary student and was also serious but approachable.

I gave Shibata a short answer then walked towards the two of them who were at the back of the classroom. I saw the group of female students that consisted of Honami Ichinose, Chihiro Shiranami, Mako Amikura, and Yume Kobashi staring at me and seemed to want to ask me to go with them. However, when they heard Shibata asked me to leave, they immediately canceled their wish.

Arriving at the back of the class, the three of us then started walking together out of this class towards the auditorium to take part in the new student acceptance ceremony. On our way to the auditorium we talked about a few small things. But what really surprised me was that it wasn't Shibata who opened the conversation but Kanzaki.

"Thank you for the explanation you gave us, Tsukasa. If it wasn't for the explanation you gave, I think we'd be in some trouble in the future."

"Yeah, yeah. Thank you for the explanation you gave about this school system. Honestly, I didn't expect the guarantee that the school gave us was only given to students who graduated as class A"

"No need to thank me. We are both in the same class and will be together for the next three years. This kind of situation is likely to be ours together from now on. So, helping each other is also common."

"Even if you say things like that, Tsukasa. Still, your contribution to this class is enormous. With this information you provided that has been confirmed by Hoshinomiya-sensei, our starting point is ahead of the others."

I smiled slightly, "You compliment me too much, Kanzaki"

"By the way, Tsukasa. From the introduction you did before. You told us that you love sports. Have you thought about what club to join in this school?" Shibata asked.

"Club, eh? Well, I do love sports. However, the exercise I mean is morning exercise which is usually to maintain health. For now, I still have no interest in joining any club. How about you, Shibata? Have you thought about joining this school club?"

"Yes. I will likely join a football club. I also previously joined the soccer club in my junior high school"

"Good luck with the club you have"
