Not just a phantom pilot

Beggining of something new /also an apology i made a mistake

So i made a mistake. When the first chapter of this story came out i said you were going to pilot a navy F-4. And the F-4E (the variant you are using) is for the USAF (US air force) not the navy. The navy version of the phantom is actually the "F-4J" a phantom variant without a built in cannon. instead they placed a gun pod so it would have a cannon and that will really hurt the performance. So yeah im sorry guys

But still your keeping the F-4E (because yes)

After officially joining the alliance they just met an hour ago, Y/n and james was given a tour of the entire base by Yorktown, while walking, they again were met by the stares of the commanders and ship girls. They still haven't met enterprise tho. But Y/n thinks she is in medical care because Yorktown said that she was badly damaged and if Y/n wasn't there she would've been killed. Which is something that Yorktown will never allow to happen to her little sister

But at this time, it was already getting late. The time was nearing sunset. Both look at the clock that is placed on the walls, and they found out it was already 5:45

Daylight is about to disappear very soon but the pilots don't mind it. But was concerned about the stares of the ship girls and the commanders (not the top ones)

Yorktown:"this is the cafeteria. We only have one, so its always packed but. There is alot of food to make up for that and also its big on the inside"

Then suddenly the commanders and ship girls starts whispering with each other, most likely about the two new boy's

Yorktown:"and here is the dorm rooms, of course, there are more ship girl dorms than commanders for. Obvious reason's"

Y/n:"jesus christ these dudes are creepy. Its like they've never seen a pilot before!"

James:"did you hear what the admiral told us? They don't need pilots to control their aircraft so i think thats why?"

Yorktown:"sorry about them, they are likely confused as to why a plane would need a pilot when they could use a ship girl and control it with her mind"

Y/n:"pfft, like they can build a nuclear carrier"

Yorktown:"and finally this is the dorm you two will be staying on"

Y/n opens the door to see a large room with a bunk bed,toilet,mat,multiple windows,a radio,a karaoke(for some reason),a table with two big drawers,a couch,a TV,A fridge,a microwave,some few plants,paintings and finally a bowl of chocolates

Y/n:"woah....this room is sick"

Yorktown giggles:"have you never seen a room as big as this before? Surely you two must've seen something like this before yes?"

Y/n:"not really. During our service in enterprise the cabins were cramped. Also there was no privacy and only a few toilets were there which were hard to get used to"

Yorktown:"oh, how unfortunate. Well you won't have to worry about that anymore"

They both nod in agreement

Yorktown:"one more thing you two"

Y/n:"yes?"

Yorktown:"Enterprise,hornet,cleveland and helena would like to meet you both in the sick bay. Thats where you can see them. They would like to thank you both for saving them"

James:"well, as the flight crew of enterprise, its in the line of duty to save our home carrier and protect any nearby US Vessels"

Yorktown:"you two are really loyal to the US Navy, or should i say. The eagle union?"

Y/n::"*sigh*..eagle union..US navy sound way better but. Its not like i can do something about it"
