"Sachi, wake up; it's time for school." Yui said, placing his freshly ironed clothes out and speed-walking to the kitchen.
"Mommy, I don't want to go," Sachi said, pouting.
"why not?" Yui said, putting his breakfast on the table next to their shared bed.
"At the orientation, the kids were mean; they made fun of me for not having a dad, and the moms badmouthed you and me and said that I must be a curse to look like my dad." Sachi said, crying.
"Oh Sachi, your not a curse because you and your dad's look alike, and so what if you have a dad? I mean, look at me, my dad abandoned me with your dad and his brothers," Yui said, making Sachi giggle. "Now get ready, miracle, you have a big day ahead of you."
"What would my dad do?" Sachi asked as Yui smiled weakly.
"He would march into that school and try to pick a fight with anyone who messes with his son," Yui said, wiping the crust off his cheeks.
"He would protect his wife too, right?" Sachi asked with a big smile, making Yui gulp, but she couldn't tell Sachi since the kid was too young.
"He better, or else I'll scold him," Yui said.
"You can scold a grownup," Sachi said.
"Yes, like this." Yui hugged the boy tightly and started to tickle his neck, making them both laugh.

"Mommy, I'm going to get the best grades and buy you a mansion," Sachi said on his walk to school with Yui.
"Sachi, don't worry about me; just focus on what's better for you in the future, okay?" Yui said
"What's better for me is that you are living in luxury, mommy." Sachi said, hugging his mom tightly, "Please walk me inside."
Yui sighed and did as she was asked and stopped midway. "Looks like the rest is up to you now," Yui said, making Sachi cry. "Come on, little Miracle 1 bunny hop," Yui chanted as Sachi sang along in a broken voice, which turned into a happy child's voice.
Sachi made it to the door and gave his mom one last hug before walking to class, looking back every second to see if Yui was there.
"One, two, three" Sachi chanted, then looked back and saw Yui was still there. He smiled and went back to counting every three steps, looking back, and Yui was still there.
"34...35...36" Sachi looked back and saw that his mom was gone. The boy ran outside, and a man showed up in front of him who looked just like him. "Where is my mommy?"
"She's fine, now come on, you're leaving early," the stranger said.
"And who are you to tell me what to do?" Sachi said before kicking his ankle.
"Take a good look at me, kid. Who do you think I am?" The stranger asked Sachi

Yui woke up in a luxurious room. She had to admit she liked it here till she felt the side of the bed and Sachi weren't there. She quickly got up and started looking around.
