Haziran loses track of time or what's happening at some point. The moment Poyraz says the words "my dad" she understood immediately why the man felt familiar. They had the exact same eyes.

Eyes that were looking at her confused, sad and perplexed. And then he turned to his dad and it's like a wall was lifted out of the sudden.

"Get Ada out of here." He tells her without looking at her. She freezes for a moment, the significance of the moment weighting on her.

"Haziran!" He says one more time and she wakes up.

"Yes. Ada and out of here." She says like a robot and closes the door behind her.

She got the kid out of the house from the back door. It didn't take much convincing since she promised her chocolate and all the kinds of candy. But after a while Ada started asking questions. Questions Haziran didn't have the answer to.

They were at the port, watching smaller and bigger boats coming and going. And then someone from the island came and asked Ada how her father was. That's when things went downhill and Haziran realized that they should go somewhere else.

Somewhere that wasn't her first choice but she needed all the help she could get.

"How did this happen?" Selma whispers as Nehir took over babysitting Ada.

"I don't know... but the way Poyraz looked at Selim... And I knew that Aliye wanted him here but..." Haziran says and looks over at Ada.

"Can you keep her here? I want to go back home to check what's happening." She continues.

"Yes honey, and bring extra clothes if she will stay here." Selma says and Zeynep shakes her head.

"What mom? Say it. We can give more gossip to the islanders to talk about." Haziran says bitterly.

"I'm just wondering what you are doing with this man's child. You barely know him and you act like a step mother to this kid." Her words are harsh but at least she keeps her voice down.

"I'm just trying to keep her safe from all the fighting. Just like her father asked me to. But you couldn't know any of that kind of shit because you never applied it when I was in her place!" Haziran says with an angry but low voice.

"Now that's unfair." Zeynep says and Selma kicks her sister's legs under the table. "What? I won't be to blame because we had differences with her father. What she's doing now..." she says only to get interrupted.

"Is what I wish someone would have done for me when I was her age!" She says louder this time. And that got Ada's attention.

Haziran rubs her head to fight her headache when she feels a small hand on her shoulder.
