Alita woke up in confusion, she didn't remember much of the evening. The room around her looked to be a teenager's room. There were two guitars on the wall, they looked like any other guitar. On the same wall was a poster, probably a music group. It has neon colours with "Simulation Theory" written on the bottom. On the other side of the room was another bed, which had no one in it, and a dresser, there was also a small table with metallic figurines on it. The figurines reminded her slightly of birds, but made of metal and with a small glass part on the top, she had never seen an object like this and wondered what it was for. The figurines were standing on a small pillar which had inscriptions on them. One said "DeHaviland Mosquito", another said "BF-109", another had "Spitfire Mk.II", there were also some intriguing names such as "Lavotchkine LA-7" or "Polivkarpov Po-2" and even "Mikoyan-Gourevitch MiG-3". There were many more but she didn't bother to read them all, she reached to the left side of her bed to grab her clothes as she does every morning, but realized she was already wearing them. She slowly got up and walked towards the door and opened it, she recognized the man immediately, and the memories sprung back. It was Masuyo, she remembered spending the afternoon with him.

- Morning!
- Uh... Hi?
- Are you okay?
- Uh, yeah. Why am I here?
- Oh, you got really tired after all your shopping yesterday, and you passed out, so I thought I would give you a bed!

He checked his watch.

- It's already eight in the morning! You slept a lot!

She gave him a confused look.

- What do you mean?! That's so little!
- Well, I'm used to sleeping four hours a night, sometimes I don't even sleep. He said with a shrug.
- What the...
- Breakfast? I don't eat in the morning, but I thought you probably do, so I made some pancakes!

She didn't really understand but she still walked over to the table and sat down. A few seconds later there was a plate in front of her with two pancakes, as well as a bocal filled with a brown-orange liquid she had never seen before. It all seemed to just suddenly appear in front of her, which left her baffled for a bit, but she blamed it on the lack of sleep. She opened the bocal without a word and poured some on the pancakes. What else could it be for? Masuyo had already left for another room, and she heard water running. He was taking a shower, did he trust her that much? She thought about making a run for it, but she didn't even know where she was in the city, she could be so far away... She reached into her pockets and took the map, it didn't have the street names on it. She shrugged to herself and started eating, whatever liquid was in that bocal was amazingly tasty and sugary. She ate everything in her plate, just as she swallowed the last bite, she heard the water stop. A few seconds later, Masuyo came out of the room, a towel wrapped around his waist, covering most of his legs, Alita stared at his body for a bit, and quickly looked away. Masuyo smiled at her and went in his bedroom, he came out a few minutes later wearing rather mundane clothes. He then sat down and smiled again.

- How was breakfast?
- Pretty good...
- I'm glad!

There was an awkward silence for a few seconds

- So, ready for your first adventure?
- Does it matter?
- A little.
- Yes, but I'm terrified.
- Relax! Nothing will happen to you! You can always count on us!

That was exactly the problem, she cannot count on anyone, she's too mefiant. That and the person who said that was the one who attacked her two days ago. But he did also give her somewhere to sleep...

- Who are they?
- Eh?
- You said "You can count on us". Who's us?
- Well, me and my team!
- Yeah, but who are your teammates?
- Oh, there's Azel, Ember, Cassie, Nebo, Azalea, and a few more!
- I see. Do they have specific roles?
- Yes and no, they all decided to have a role, but they're all pretty much all-around.
- Alright. Well, I'm good at healing, the only thing is I forget I can use my spells on myself.
