Azel and Alita were starting to feel a little better, as their owner promised, they only had to do a tiny bit of work and then they had the whole day off. They did plan to run away, they had found a map of the city, on which they drew their plan. Their owner eventually found it, and to their immense surprised, gave them advice. Alita was still a little suspicious of the man, but she kept it for herself. She was also pleasantly surprised that he didn't lie. He does indeed have a wife, and he hasn't forced them to give him sexual favours, not even once. He didn't even pretend to not hear them wash to walk in on them showering. They even had individual bedrooms, they chose to all sleep together, but they were still offered rooms. It was all baffling to them. As much as they wanted to be happy and enjoy a well-earned break, the thoughts of their friends serving as actual mistreated slaves, was lowering their moral. But the days went by until the D day, the day they were escaping. They had plenty of time to build up a trust with their "owner", they trusted him enough to warn him about their escape. He seemed a little disappointed about their departure, but he was comprehensive and wished them luck before giving them some food and water. As well as a dagger for each. Masuyo and Azel were pretty happy, but Alita was terrified. She barely knew how to fight with melee weapons. But she was still grateful to have been given something. They all thanked the man, grabbed the map and left. They were alone, just the three of them. They were three and pushing against all odds. Pushing against the world.

Tria and the others had looked through everything they could, and it was partly successful. Most sellers refused to give them any information, but one of them had shown the little group that they had sold someone to the name of Cassie Carpathia, and the file shown every bit of info that they had needed. They thanked the man and gave him a little amount of money and went on their way, they couldn't save everyone just yet, so the only thing to focus on right now was to save who they can, it greatly upped their moral. Luckily, the buyer was not so far away, in a neighbouring city. As soon as everyone climbed in the carriage, the man asked Tria to sit in front and outside of the carriage, next to him. Tria was not totally trusting him yet, but obeyed.

- "You seem to be the most emotionally impacted of them all, is it fine if I ask why?" He said with a genuinely concerned look as he cracked his whip to make the horses move.

- "Well as I told you, my girlfriend is somewhere out there, being abused and most probably raped every day, and I can't even do anything to help her."

- "I have two things to reply to that, you want the nice one or the honest one?"

- "You know what-" Tria's heart was racing, she felt her breath speed up and she felt a number of uncomfortable sensations inside of her body, she was already starting to panic to the idea of what the honest answer might be. "Do both."

- "Honest one first." The man looked at her for a few seconds to make sure she was fine before taking his eyes back to the path. "Odds are you won't find her, maybe the guy who bought her left to some other country or continent, and as much as I want to help you, I can't go that far. And good luck finding someone who can. That or maybe she was bought by a very influential and rich figure, the untouchable kind, you know what I mean?"

- "Y-Yes-" Tria was starting to sob silently, she turned her head away, this man didn't even have her total trust yet, she couldn't allow him to see her cry.

- "But now for the nice answer." He whipped the horses again to make them speed up. "There is a chance that you will find her. Maybe she was bought by some rusty ol' bastard, who can't do much except whip his penis out, the kind that you can kill in the most painful way possible and no one will notice. Maybe she's unbelievably close to us, maybe we'll even find her on our way for that other girl. Who knows?"
