Chapter 11

When I woke up again my stomach ached and my whole body hurt, something hard was on my head. A sob escaped my lips and someone at my side screamed "Mother! She's awake!" My head dropped to the side the voice came from and I saw that it was Daniela. "Hey Mama, you're finally awake" she kissed my cheek and I tried to smile, but it hurt. "You must be hungry, Mother was going to get something for you, in case you would wake up soon. Guess she thought right" Daniela smiled at me and squeezed my hand. She sat the whole time next to me, but it took her mother just a few seconds to reach the room and open the door. She straightened her posture and gasped when she saw me. Tears formed in her eyes, and she was at my side within a second. A maid came in as well and put a tray with food and a cup of tea on the nightstand and left again. "Lilith" Alcina whispered and sat next to me. Daniela kissed my cheek one more time and left the room.

"Alcina" I sobbed and wanted to say something, but she stopped me. "It's okay, we talk later. You need to eat now!" I nodded and tried to eat something but the moment I tasted the food I immediately spit it out. It tasted like rotten flesh and foul eggs. "What's wrong?" Alcina asked and watched me closely. "It's disgusting I ... I think I'm going to throw up" just when I ended my sentence the food came up my throat and I threw up into the bucket next to the bed. "Thank god I ordered Ingrid to put the bucket there" Alcina sighed and placed her hand on my forehead. "What was wrong with the food?" she asked me with worry in her voice and handed me the cup of tea. I drank a sip and whispered, "It tasted foul, like it was stale!" Alcina thought a few moments of the information and then her eyes widened. "My love, what did Mother Miranda do to you?" "She injected me with the cadou" I sobbed, "she had hoped it would turn me into a Lycan or kill me, but neither happened." "I think, I know what happened to you" she locked eyes with me and caressed my cheek, "at first I hadn't noticed the change in your eyes, because your pupils were so dilated, but when I entered the room earlier I think, my heart stopped for a minute." "Why?" I asked quietly. "Your eyes floarea mea mica, they turned golden, like mine. I think the cadou turned you into the same creature I am, just without the height and the second form, but with horns" she whispered and stared into my eyes. „What?" I screamed and touched my head. That's what felt so hard on my head. „I have horns now?" I asked and cried. Alcina nodded but smiled at me „You look fantastic my love don't fret about it!" she told me and touched my horns. "You don't need food now, you need blood my love, I will let a maid come up. You need it fresh from the source now!" "No!" I gasped, "I won't drink blood from a maid, I would rather die!" I didn't even notice the tears that streamed down my face and that I was hysterically sobbing. Alcina pulled me into her arms and pressed my face into her breast. She soothed her hands up and down my back and whispered sweet words in my ear. "Open your mouth my love" she whispered in my ear and pushed me back a little so that she could look into my face. She tapped her finger against my lips, and I opened my mouth. "Ah! Now that's a beautiful sight" Alcina whispered and smiled. "What?" I mumbled with her finger still in my mouth. "You, my love, have fangs now and oh are they beautiful" she smiled and then gasped, "oh and sharp." I tasted it before I knew what she meant, my fang broke the skin of her finger and a droplet of blood dripped onto my tongue. I gasped and my lips closed around her finger. My golden eyes turned pitch black and Alcina saw it. She moaned at the sight of it and the feeling of my tongue swirling around her fingertip, sucking at it. A low growl rumbled through my chest, and I released her finger with a pop.

"Alcina" I whispered, and she tilted her head to the side. She guided my head to her neck and whispered "Drink from me floarea mea mica, you don't need a maid. I'm here and want you to drink from me." My nose nuzzled her pulse point, and I felt the pulsing of her blood against my lips. I opened my mouth and bit down into her neck, her blood streamed into my mouth and Alcina moaned loudly, she grabbed my head and scraped with her nails against my scalp. I groaned and sucked harder, her blood tasted delicious, and I felt, how my body got stronger. My eyes shot open, and I pulled back, droplets of blood dropped from my chin and to my cleavage. Alcina watched the blood travel down between my breast "Lilith" Alcina breathed and looked up into my eyes.
