She stayed silent for a moment, as gears in her mind started to turn rapidly. Trying to understood what he meant. Then it hit her.

She smiled, as she understood that she let her emotions show on her face. Making the boy notice her pain.

She also understood, who this boy, Natsuki Subaru, is and felt no need for questions as to why he said it.

But her pride as an God won't let this boy go unpunished for making her realize her mistakes. So She did so.

By being honest with what she feels.

"Then You can call Me Mama now child" she said as she had a mischievous smile or her face.

"Hu- Wh- I- I- Eh?" Said a very flustered Subaru. As he tried to rationalize what he heard.

Seeing this, the Goddess felt A LITTLE bit satisfied. It is amusing, he acted like the mature one and made her feel like a child being comforted. She's way too old for that. Not that she'll admit it.

"Now now child. As much as I Enjoy teasing you, I d-" she was cut off

"Teasing me!? Grr! Alright fine! I'll do it then! I'll call you Mama from now on!" Said Subaru whilst still being red as a tomato.

Deep down he was happy. Sure he still has a mother, Natsuki Naoko. But he doesn't want Arana to be sad. He will be a part of her once he takes takes her essence in his body. Something he would like to talk about, but decided not to because they are out of time.

As for the Goddess?

Oh she's Sooooo gonna keep teasing this boy. He made her feel happy, now she has a SON, an adopted one at that.

He won't be her biological sons replacement. It would be an insult to Subaru.

"We will talk more in the future, inside your dreams my son. But as you know, I can't keep you here longer." She said. Smiling as she looked forward to it.

"Yes Haha-ue." (another japanese word for mother)

"(Sigh) That will do for now." She sighed and smiled at her adoptive son's antics.

"Before I send you back, there's one more thing you must know. The moment you step outside and onto Lugunica, you have changed Fate drastically."

"What do you mean Haha-ue?" He asked.

"You will soon find out my son. Now take care, I will talk to you soon in your dreams. Until then you must get used to you powers."

"Wait how do I get out of the Dungeon Haha-ue?" He asked. He almost forgot about that.

She smiled. She's starting to like how her adoptive son calls her.

"Just say My full name child. And a door will appear"

"Alright, thank you again Haha-ue." He said as he disappears in particles of light.

"No, thank you my son. For making me feel happy again."she said as she too disappears in a flash of light.

Subaru didn't know what to expect. When he drank the contents of the flask. He thought maybe there will be pain or something uncomfortable.

But he was simply basked with warm golden light and... That's it.
