Footsteps were pounding after her. She ran further still, faster. After finding out, she knew she had to leave immediately. She could hear the drawing of a weapon. She risked a glance over her shoulder, to see a glowing whip. This confirmed her theory. Only one person has a whip of that color. She had to warn the others. Had to get Azrael out of this place. She kept running. She heard the crack of the whip, and felt the white-hot pain that raced down her shoulder. Another crack, and she felt it wrap around her ankle. As she fell, she sent out a flare of her power. She hit the ground, and everything went black.
