Back to present day. Everyone is now surrounded by a bonfire at Thomas's guest house. Tears roll down Olivia's face she quickly wipes the tears away. Braerm puts his arm around Olivia and confront her. Thomas speaks "Olivia I'm so sorry if I would have know—" Olivia speaks "It doesn't matter now. All it matters you becoming king so no more lives can be taken" Thomas stands up. Thomas speaks "I need to talk to Jasper" Elwin speaks "Are you crazy?!? If he finds out what we just told you he will kill you" Thomas speaks "I won't let that happen" Thomas walks away. Jasper is at his home. Jasper is drinking his bottle of ale. Jasper hears a knock on the door. Jasper gets up and answers the door. Jasper sees Thomas and roll his eyes. Jasper speaks "What do you want human? I already agree to join the stupid journey to—" Thomas speaks "Jasper I know" Jasper is annoyed and than speaks "know what." Thomas speaks "I know why you hate humans and I know...what happened to your mother" Jasper gets mad. Jasper speaks and is very angry "Get out" Thomas speaks "I know what is like to lose someone you" Jasper speaks still in a anger tone but it gets a little louder as he talk "get out" Thomas speaks "Jasper" Jasper grabs Thomas by the throat and put Thomas against the wall. Jasper tattoos turn bright white and his eyes turn bright white too. Jasper speaks this voice is taken over by a demon. "YOU ARE DEAD! DEAD! All of sudden Thomas's necklace glows bright. Jasper screams as the light is Blinding him. Jasper drops Thomas to the ground. Thomas quickly gets up. Thomas decides to stay and talk to Jasper. Jasper is still getting Blind by the light. Thomas speaks and yells "I know what is like to lose someone you love but you can't blame every human you met!" Jasper is Screaming from the light. Thomas speaks "All I want is to be you're ally" The necklace stops glowing. Thomas sees Jasper is passed out. Thomas walks to Jasper. Thomas speaks to Jasper "I'm not the bad guy all I want is to save colmer and my people. I honest don't care if you come or not but stay out of my way. If you want try and kill me go ahead but I'm not going down without a fight" Thomas was about to leave but he feels guilty. Thomas looks at Jasper. Thomas goes to Jasper's living room. Thomas Grabs a blanket and pillow. Thomas gently puts the pillow on Jasper's head and the blanket on Jasper's body. Thomas looks at Jasper. Thomas quietly sighs. Thomas leaves Jasper's house. Thomas is lying in bed at his guest house. Thomas starts to hear Carla's voice and advice "You have a good heart Thomas but you need to stand up for yourself show everyone you're strength" Thomas Sighs and than speaks "Carla I miss you... I wish you were here" Thomas looks at sky ceiling thinking that Carla is watching him. Thomas takes a deep breath and than exhales. Thomas falls asleep
