Chapter 2: By The Village. The Maiden of Flowers and the Maiden of Paradise

A/N: I feel like i should apologize for leaving this story for...almost an entire year, on the first chapter ._.

Y/N's PoV

Y/N:"Crowbar" I said as a Bonk Choy passed me a crowbar

Me and the plants were trying to fix Penny so she could fly again and get us out of here, and i laid beneath it as four wallnuts held Penny up so i could check it from below

Y/N:"Wrench"

The same object i asked for was delivered by the same Bonk Choy, i then started hitting the metal pipes beneath Penny

Y/N:"Taco"

And now he passed me a recently made taco, which i instantly bit into as i crawled off from beneath the van. Just as i did, Yuuka walked up to us with her parasol held up, a gust of wind passing by to make her hair and clothes move with the gust

Yuuka:"Any luck fixing it?" I shook my head as an answer

Y/N:"Turned Penny off so she wouldn't feel pain, however fixing her is still a big problem, i can't seem to locate the problem"

She gave me a nod while i finished my taco. Yuuka walked up to Sunny who was sitting besides a peashooter, picking her up and looking at her

Yuuka:"Did you help fixing the van? You must've been of great help" Said the flower maiden with a smile on her face

Y/N:"Sunny's the best cheerleader we could ask for, even when fighting zombies off she's come in really handy to give all plants some motivation-"

A thunderbolt fell at my side the moment i finished speaking, hitting Bonk Choy who fell unconscious after the thunder's electric charge

Y/N:"Huh, weird, those usually always hit me" I looked up to see if any cloud was nearby, however nothing was in sight to have made the thunder fall

Yuuka:"Hehe, i can see Sunny's a great cheerleader, the shining light of the team aren't you?" Asked Yuuka to the smiling sunflower, who nodded with cheerfulness

As they were on with their stuff, i placed all my tools on a box and saved the box inside the van, clapping my hands together to get the attention of all plants

Y/N:"Now, we'll continue trying to fix Penny up later, for now we'll need a way to explore this unknown land without alerting anyone of our presence..." I placed a hand on my chin while i looked out into the horizon, thinking up what would be recommended for us

It wasn't long before a pea hit my shoulder, the small peashooter being the one responsible for shooting it as he jumped with an idea in mind

Y/N:"What is it? Got an idea?"

The peashooter began jumping up and down before it began mimicking noises, moving it's leaves around as well as making a growling sound

Yuuka:"Is it hungry? Angry?" Asked Yuuka without much of an idea of what it tried to say

Y/N:"Oh i see, great idea!"

Once i knew what the shooter was speaking about, i placed two fingers to my mouth and whistled loudly calling out for someone else. A few seconds passed before three burrows appeared at my feet as well as three Chompers emerging from below, startling Yuuka in the process

Y/N:"There you are! We need you all to make some recognition of the area, you're the sneakiest plants we've got so go do what you can"

The Chompers nodded in unison before digging into the ground again, disappearing as they left the flower garden
