Going through something and finding someone attractive means using them to get you life together, but what happens when you catch feelings for your 'side piece'
You woke up to the sound of birds outside and sunshine through your window and the softness underneath your head, you smiled lightly as you snuggled your head deeper into the 'pillow'
"Comfortable huh?" Mei's voice ringing into your head from right above your head.
"Indeed" you said pulling the blanket up more before it occurred to you that your pillow wasn't a pillow. You flew up and turned your head fast looking at Mei laying down beside you on her phone.
"I'm so sorry, i didn't know i was laying down on your.." you had a slight blush as your turned away finishing your sentence "Boobs"
"It's alright, I kinda put you there before we went to bed. You're not to blame but I gotta get to work but first I gotta go home." she sat up swinging her feet off the bed. "Want anything from the cafe. You don't have to come by today it'll be packed anyways since its a Monday"
"Nah it's fine, i'll come by if i need anything but i have a new coffee maker coming in today that i really wanna try. Once it gets here that is" you also got off the bed going into the bathroom looking at yourself in the mirror. ''Holy shit she got soft boobs" your head dropped as you stared at your hands for a moment before a knock came from the other side of the door.
"Y/n you okay in there?" Mei said.
"Um yea yea, i'll be out in just a moment give me a sec." you washed your hands and stepped out.
"I'll be heading out now. See you tomorrow then"
"Yeah for sure" you whipped your hands dry on your shirt, showing her the way out. the door. Once you closed it you sighed running back up to grab your phone. About 5 calls around 2 am from your boss, quickly you pressed on his contact and called back.
"Hello?" a sleep deprived voice rang. "Y/n?"
"Hello sir I'm sorry I couldn't get back to you last night I was asleep" you pleaded "Please tell me the situation."
"Well" he groaned. "Me, Katsuki and Tsu were concerned about your sudden eagerness to go to that café you love so much, what's it called, sun bet or something and needed to warn you to stay away from there from now on. There's someone there that you need to steer clear of. We can't have our star sniper and Assassin going MIA on us now, so that's all for now. Stay away from there and if i have to make you forcefully then i will go to those measures."
"Well can you least tell me who they are?" you walked over to your desk and took a seat chewing on your nails nervously.
"Sure, There name is..-"
"WHAT?!" you shouted and your phone died "Fucking universe has it out for me" you threw your phone across the room in frustration.
-At the Café-
"Yo, Hatsume. We got trouble in our hands"
"Oh really" she smiled walking to the store front and turned the opened sign light off and her face changed instantly. "What seems to be the problem?"
"Well, word says that one of our customer that come in here is an assassin and a 5 star one at that and apparently we should close up for the next few days"
"Is that so" she wiped her forehead with the back of her hand prior to going back to what she was doing, she closed the blinds of the store and got to packing away all the coffee equipment while her co-worker Tenya Iida was calling places to find out where he'd put all the food that needed to be put into a fridge was gonna be stored at.
"Actually, iida i have a friend who loves coffee more than a normal human being should," Mei turned around smiling slightly "I can take some of those things over to h-" she stopped as she saw the figure that came through the back door.
"Absolutely not Mei" a deep intense voice" we cannot risk you getting caught we don't even know who the customer is." A man with red hair and black suit came in "Only detail we as an organization have is that they' re a regular, we have over 50 regulars here it's to much risk"
"But-"
"No excuses. Your not going anywhere and that's that mei, and don't even try to get out of here i have this entire building surrounded above" he pointed towards the roof "Unless you want 3 helicopters chasing you down i suggest you stay inside where it's safe for you"
"Yeah, got it" her mouth started quivering as she fumed with anger.
"Good, iida make sure he doesn't slip out of your sight" he walked towards the entrance
"Yes sir" he stood straight with his hands behind his back. Waiting for him to leave. Once he was out, Mei and Iida sighed heavily.
"When can we have our own freedom?" Mei whispered as a tear slipped out the inner corner of her eye.
"This wouldn't have happened if our parents weren't dead, you know, we'd be living like typical middle aged people. Working in an overheated office or even worse, sweating over a stove."
"Mhmm" she nodded as she wiped her tears away and took a deep breath continuing her part in helping.
After a while they were almost done and Iida came around the corner making eye contact with Mei as she moved things from other boxes and put them in 3 different bags.
"Your planning on going to Y/n house aren't you" he said with sincere like eyes.
"yes" she said, looking right into his eyes "What's it to you?"
"I'll take it to her, what's the address?"
"I'd rather not, i don't want her in the danger of my own fucked up life so rather i take it or no one does." she glared at him with hatred.
