The Heaven World, the Demon World, and the Human World were the three worlds that made up the universe. Human World was the last of the three to be identified.

However, there was a fourth planet, known as the Netherworld, among the three.

The Underworld and the Ghost World were ruled by the Netherworld. As a result, neither Heaven nor the Demon Worlds could overthrow the Netherworld's dominance.

Because either humans, Gods, or demons would have to join the Netherworld after death, or they would become wandering spirits that would never be reincarnated.

The Underworld was where all wandering souls went to be reincarnated. Only wandering souls who passed the Transmigration Palace's examination were allowed to enter the Underworld. The date of their reincarnation, on the other hand, was determined by the actions they took in their previous life. And the final decision would be made by the Hell Palace.

Wandering spirits may be reincarnated in the blink of an eye.

Those who were unlucky might have to wait hundreds of years or possibly longer.

The wandering spirits who had killed individuals in their previous existence were sent to the Ghost World.

After their rage were cleaned up, wandering souls with minor sins could proceed to the Underworld for reincarnation. Those who have committed bigger sins, on the other hand, would be subjected to a variety of punishments in places like the Red Lotus Hell until all of their rage were expunged. Even yet, it took hundreds to thousands of years for them to be reincarnated.

However, any wandering soul's examination at the Transmigration Palace was the first step before entering the two worlds above the ground.

The man in white, for example, led the scholar to the Transmigration Palace.

Normally, a deceased person transforms into one of two types of wandering souls. The first type came from people who died naturally, such as from old age or disease. After death, this type of soul was unconscious for a while. As a result, the soul would fly to the Transmigration Palace to accept the review on its own.

The other type came from those who died by accident, such as the scholar killed by a coach.

People who died in an unnatural way always had a strong desire to live. As a result, their spirits retained consciousness. And this type of soul must be returned by ghost officers, or it will be forced to wander the cosmos and become a ghost forever once the time to visit the Transmigration Palace has passed.

The man in white wasn't a genuine ghost cop. He was, in fact, the lord of the Transmigration Palace's assistant.

He was not in charge of responsibilities like catching souls because he was a man of high position. However, as the number of souls of individuals who died in accidents increased over the last century,Transmigration Palace was so short-handed that even he had to get out to catch a soul.

He only felt he had been disgraced. But the lord of the palace was the one who had given the order, so he had to accept the assignment.

However...

He was angry one second and then wished he could kill himself the next.

The small ghost's spirit had already vanished in the Spellbound Bell as the guy in white was about to arrive at the Transmigration Palace!

Over thousands of years, the Spellbound Bell had never failed him in his mission to harvest souls.

That soul had gone in the Spellbound Bell without making a sound or leaving any indication, implying that it was not a dead but a living soul. So that young man hadn't actually passed away?
