REI HAITANI hated complicated ordeals, yet it was inevitable. it was bound to happen. over and over again. fate chose this path for her, along with everyone else. fate is the mastermind behind it all. fate loves playing tricks and treats with every individual who mistakenly falls into one of its traps. destiny, however, is the opposite. one can change their destiny so long as one sets their mind to it. rei haitani refused to let this be her destiny. her final chapter. this is not the final chapter of her life. it has only just begun.
rei haitani feels condemned, she feels as though her brothers deaths were at her fault. what had she done wrong? in a fight for destiny, she realized one thing, fate was the player of the chessboard. she was merely a knight controlled by no king, but a player of the board. she felt resentment. like everyone else in this unfair world, she too wished for a second chance. so? she received a second chance. this time rei haitani wasn't going to let this slip in her grasp. she was going to change the fate that lay with her brothers.
but amongst all, she forgot one person. ▬▬ she forgot to save herself.
