hu tao's pov: i cant wait for today! ill go to the mall with yanfei and maybe ill be able to buy her a gift! gosh i just want her to notice that i like her. well its time to go! this time ill be sure to surprise her first!
*going to yanfei's*
Yanfei's pov: it seems chongyun is here again but he's with someone else...is that xingiu? huh, perhaps they're on a date as well! i wonder where hu tao is currently.
as she thought about hu tao she felt someone's hands on her shoulders, it was hu tao who brought her flowers from all around liyue.
"ah hu tao! hello! you scared me a bit" she said as she was catching her breath for a bit "well i wanted to surprise you today! so here you go, a bouquet of flowers from all over liyue!" hu tao said happily as she was smiling brightly. "i- its so pretty, i love it so much! thank you!" yanfei chirped with excitement at this gesture. perhaps hu tao's love language was giving gifts? "well then,its time to go miss adeptus" hu tao said as she started grabbing her by the hand. she made sure not to pull too hard but just enough so that yanfei was like a doll getting dragged to the mall to get clothes. --------------------------------------------------------------
chongyun's pov: are yanfei and hu tao on a date again? well i hope it goes well for them! i dont want any karma happening while im on my own date with xingqiu. today we're going to the mall to get some food for my cat and also buy some stuff for ourselves.
"ah xingqiu do you think we might meet hu tao and yanfei at the mall today? i remember them talking about it yesterday but they didn't go" he asked his boyfriend who was currently describing the view in front of them in his book by writing "well maybe! i hope those two get together tho cause they're way too oblivious" the bookworm said as he started grabbing chongyun to the mall as well
yanfei and hutao:
"so! first i want to get you something yanfei!" says hu tao as she is still dragging her crush and going to the jewellery store "weren't we supposed to buy things for ourselves? i dont want you wasting money on me!" yanfei said while basically obeying to the dragging and not complaining at all "well i dont really care so let's just go!"
as they arrived at the jewellery store,yanfei spotted a nice pair of earrings, it was a nice pair of pink heart earrings with rose gold rimming

she wanted them so she told hu tao how pretty they are. "hu tao ,look! dont these look pretty? i want to get them so ill go ask the cashier to get them out of the box so i can pay! ill be right back" yanfei said as she started running to the cashier to get them but little does she know that hu tao got them specifically made for her. "thank you that will be 1.520 mora" "aha! here you go-" yanfei got cut up by hu tao who was now paying for them instead "here you go miss! thank you!" she said as she grabs yanfei again so they can go to the next store but then they see the two boyfriends that they saw beforehand at the inn. "ah chongyun, xingiu! hello!" hu tao chirps as she goes to them with yanfei "ah hu tao, yanfei hi! im so glad we got to see you here!" says xingiu as he closes his book and waits for chongyun to take his hand "nice to see you guys too! how about we all go to get some food together? im starving from being dragged around this much" said yanfei while pouting "i'd like that as well. i got dragged around by xingqiu too much" said chongyun while basically leaning his head back,almost falling "alrighty then! so double date to the food shops!" said xingiu as he started to follow hu tao and yanfei along --------------------------------------------------------------
"so what will you guys get? ill get some tofu!" hu tao said, smirking at the thought that xiao will immediately show up next to them "did you say tofu?" and she was right,xiao did show up at the mention of tofu. he was with venti who was currently holding 2 bags while xiao was holding....how many? im not sure.
"aha! i knew you would show up! ah hi venti nice to see you!" hu tao said "nice to see you too miss funeral parlour director" said the bard "i did not expect xiao and venti to show up- that scared me" chongyun said,now putting his hand on his chest to calm down "well hello you two! ill get some tianshu meat please" said xingqiu who was done ordering his food "ah ill get someTriple-layered consommé!" yanfei chirps at the waiter "ill get something..." chongyun is about to say something but he gets cut off "he wants something spicy!!" hu tao jumps in "NOT spicy. please dont mind her" he says as he's glaring at her "perhaps ill get some crystal shrimp" "i want almond tofu" xiao said. it was expected "ill just get lotus flower crisp!" venti said. now they were all done ordering so they all sat down "sorry for joining in on your guys' double date!" venti said "well its a triple date now! so, who wants to go to mt.tianheng to look at the city from above?" "ooh that would be a nice end for today!" said chongyun and everyone else agreed "so basically, after we're done with all of this mall stuff, we'll go to mt.tiangheng to look at the city at night and we'll also look at the stars, correct?" xiao asked "yep! you better stay with us mr.adeptus or im going to make yanfei bite you" hu tao said proudly as yanfei looked worried for her well-being "i do not want to get bit." he said,now glaring at her
they waited for their food to come and they kept chatting. after finishing it they continued to go around the mall to shop for things and in the end they all got matching rings. now it was finally time to go and watch liyue from above...
