We have to look at a couple of things after we're married.

For one, unless we want to stay in my apartment our whole lives, we would need to get a bigger house, or perhaps another newer apartment.

"Good morning Trish..."

She walks out of our room, in the shirt that she was wearing last night, tying her hair into a messy bun.

"Good morning you."

She heads over to the sink and gulps down a cup of water before opening the overhead cabinets and pouring some cereal out.

I head over to her and hug her from behind.

"I have a question for you."

"What? How was last night?"

She turns her head slightly towards my direction while holding up the bowl.

"No... but how was it?"

"As good as it gets."

I chuckle and ask her the question.

"Would you want to stay here for the rest of our lives, rest our kids here and continue to live here, or would you want to buy a bigger house, with a backyard?"

She places the bowl down, turning around.

"I don't care where we live,"

She places her hand on my cheek.

"So long I'm with you, I'm ok with anything."

She kisses me dearly and tucks a lock of my hair behind my ear.

"I see... So you'll be ok with staying in this pathetic piece of a house for the rest of our lives?"

She smiles.

"It's not pathetic, Trish. But if you want to look at other apartments or houses, I'll look at them with you."

"Let's get out of this house, find a new one. A better apartment."

"If you say so~"

She sneaks in another kiss, and some times it's hard to tell who's top and bottom.

Later on in the day, we decided to hop onto a real estate website to find apartment listings in a nicer neighbourhood with some good elementary and high schools. Hell, we even looked for colleges near apartments.

Obviously we would love for our kid to go to UCLA like us, but they can choose not to.

"Alright, let's take a look at this one. It looks quite nice and comfy."

I take the car keys and off we went to the address.

"Damn it is a nice neighbourhood. There's a mall nearby, traffic won't be so bad, decent schools are not too far away."

She could have gone on and on about more nonsensical things, but I didn't bother to tune in. I was busy admiring her, busy watching the way she spoke so fervently about the geography, amenities and what not.

"Trish?"

She snaps her fingers and it seems to work, as I refocus on the elevator in front of us.

"Sorry, I kinda spaced out. You're just so fascinating with whatever you said..."

"I put you in a trance huh?... Isn't that nice?"

She pinches my cheek and giggles.

The previous owner of the apartment welcomes us into the apartment, and as we stepped in, I took in the beauty of the apartment.

It was huge, and the view from the window was so good.

"Woah, this is a good house. Why are you selling it?"

I turn to the owner.

"We're moving to a bigger house in the country."

"I see."

"I'll be packing up some more things if you don't mind. Just call for me if you need anything."

"Sure."

He walks into one of the rooms and starts packing the remaining of his items into boxes upon boxes.

"What do you think honey?"

I grab her hand and squeeze it gently.

"It's perfect. It's wonderful. Let's put our names down. Make an offer."

"I think we should look at other houses Viv."

"But Trish, what if someone gets the apartment before we do?"

"We'll put our names down first, but let's just check out like the other 2 houses we have. Maybe we'll like them more."

"If you say so, hun. So long you're living with me, I don't care if we end up in a dump."

"Awh..."

After having 'reserved' the apartment, we went over and checked out the other two houses that we thought were decent.

They weren't as nice as the first one, but of course there were other factors to counter that. For example, the second house was closer to a more prestigious school, better mall, but the house itself was not all that good.

The third house was near bus stops and subways, but no where near schools.

"So, we've checked out all the houses, which one do you think is the best, Trish?"

"The first one. You were right, we should've just bought it."

I sigh as we get back into the car and drive back to the first house. She places her hand on my lap and I look at her.

"You were just making sure that we wouldn't regret not checking out the other apartments. I like that about you. When the time's right, you take risks. But when the decision is important, you take a step back to make sure that you're making the right choice."

To be frank, I wasn't listening to her. I could feel her hand moving up my thigh, sending shivers down my spine and causing my hairs to stand on end.

"Trisha? You with me?"

"Sure, we'll get some dinner.."

She chuckles and pushes my head back so that I'm paying attention to the road.

"That's two for me now. In a day!"

I playfully nudge her and glare at her.

Once everything was settled with the apartment, we picked up dinner and headed back to my apartment, packing everything into boxes.

(ok, i don't know how long it takes for an apartment to be ready for you to use after you buy it, but i'm just going to assume that it takes about 2 days before you can move in)

"I can't believe I'm leaving this place."

Vivian grabs my hand and her thumb rubs circles on the back of it.

"Then let's leave it with a bang..."

She kisses up my jawline, making me forget about the moving at once. She tackles me to the floor and starts to undress me.

And we did leave it with a bang... literally.
