"I want to talk about it..." Chifuyu took a deep breath bringing his knees to his chest. "But I just can't," The younger boy exhaled through his knees.

Baji reached towards him again this time more slowly making sure that the younger saw what he was doing. The ravenette placed his hand on the side of Chifuyu's face like he had done earlier that day gently pulling his face up so that there eyes met again.

"I can wait, you don't have to tell me now I'll always be waiting," The older boy smiled, scotching over to sit next to Chifuyu.

They sat in a comfortable silence until the smaller boy laid his head on Baji's shoulder.

"After you died...I met this guy named Everett...he kinda reminded me of you a little bit," Chifuyu sniffled. "He would start a fight with people just for them looking at him the wrong way and he acted super sweet to me...but I was so wrong about him," Chifuyu cuddled closer to Baji using his sleeve to wipe his tears. "After a couple years we had started dating and that's when he finally let his true colors show...Only a few mouths into our relationship he started..." Chifuyu hesitated he never told anyone this before the others figured it out on their own.

Baji patted Chifuyu's head petting it gently Baji always knew how to comfort him no one else knew how much the younger boy loved his head being petted.

"He...started hitting me and...he would come home drunk..." Chifuyu sniffled wiping his face again. "And cheated on me...several times," Chifuyu rubbed his runny nose on Baji's shoulder but he didn't mind. "H-he..." Chifuyu stuttered putting his hand back over his mouth again.

Baji gently rubbed the smaller boys back "Please don't force yourself to tell me."

"I wanna tell you it's just...I can't," Chifuyu sighed.

"He..." Chifuyu mumbled something Baji couldn't quirt make out.

"What was that?" Baji asked leaning his head a top of the youngers.

Chifuyu didn't respond he just started to play with the long hair that was in front of his face. "I missed playing with your hair," He smiled. Baji smiled as well letting Chifuyu play with his hair like he always did when they were younger.

...

"I told you to clean that up!"

"I'm sorry Everett but I just-" Chifuyu was cut off by a punch to the face landing on the cold tiles.

"Don't talk back to me!" Everett yelled at the blonde boy kicking him in the stomach.

Chifuyu coughed he would of thrown up but he hadn't eaten anything in days, a little surprised he wasn't coughing up blood.

Everett grabbed the smallers cheeks tightly with one hand "Tell me when your done," He growled throwing him back down on the ground.

Chifuyu laid there for a little while after the other blonde boy left knowing he was going to come home late anyways.

Chifuyu was woken up later that night to another quick kick to the stomach.

"Why are you still laying here!" Everett yelled clearly drunk.

"Ugh," Chifuyu groaned trying to sit up.

There was a sudden pain when the blonde grabbed him by his hair and dragged across the floor

"Drink this," Everett shoved a glass in Chifuyu's face.

"N-no," Chifuyu refused weakly.

"Drink it!" Everett said more strongly this time.
