Coco's POV
I had suddenly woken up. Bandages around my hands and arms I recognised the softness of the blanket and the warm are blowing around the room. I was at Sylvies house again.
All I remember is Katie and her friends were re doing there make up at the sinks and I was busting so I walked in and said hi forgetting what Katie said. She looked at me with disgust and I saw her friends drop what was in there hands and walk over to me. I kept backing up till I was cornered and from then I got beat up. And it all went black.
Now I'm here in my new favourite blanket and in my only friends bed, who was asleep next to me, I looked up at her and smiled as I sat up slowly, it hurt to move but I had to sit up.
I moved the blanket aside and let my tip ties touch the floor since her bed was high raised for her height she was 5'10 and I was just 5'6 not to tall but tall for a girl.
Maybe that's why I'm as bullied I was different. I got off her bed and held on the wall for support as my knees ached from standing on them.
Slowly I limped to her closet and opened it. I grabbed her red jumper which smelled like her and threw it on hanging just below my hips.
I looked at my watch which hadn't been charged. It was currently 7pm. I had to get home before my dad was there. Or I would be screwed by my own dad
I looked around the room and picked my bag and chucking it over my shoulder I stumbled to Sylvies side of the bed and grabbed her phone I swiped to right of her locks teen which took you to notes. "Hey Sylvie, sorry I had to go home but here's my phone number, text me when you wake up X" I wrote down and saved it and out her phone back
I thought about it while I looked at her peacefully sleep. I quickly pressed a kiss on her forehead. And quickly limped away and down stairs. I pulled my phone out and dialled a uber to come pick me up.
I stood on the driveway and waited not to long later I heard the door swing open and came running out was Sylvie she ran up to me and hugged me. We just stood there while she had her arms around my body and I stood still just let me stand in her warm embrace.
I felt safe and happy until a horn honked and there was my uber. Sylvie let go and put a piece of my hair behind my ear "check your notes" I said backing away and opened the uber door hoping in. I looked at her stare at me blankly and pull her phone out and walk back inside.
She always put a smile on my face the past days we've been friends. I was mainly in my phone the whole way back to the the apartment building until we came to a stop. I payed with my left over cash and thanked my driver.
I ran inside and as fast but my limp slowed me down. I got to the elevator and got in as quickly as possible and stood in there. The numbers got bigger and the minutes felt like forever getting up to the penthouse.
After a full 2:00 minutes I stopped and the elevator doors opened and the frame of my dad stood in the door way with his phone pressed yo against his ear and his foot tapping on the tile.
He glanced up at me and excused himself off the phone and put his phone down and walked straight up to me and hugged me.
"You scared me to death Coco." He pulled away from the hug and held my shoulders "where were you?! You've been missing all afternoon and there's no sign of you being here yesterday" he said in concern.. "dad I'm fine I was just at a friend's" he looked me up and down making sure I looked alright
I was fully clothed so he couldn't see the bruises underneath. "Atleast your safe but your definitely grounded for the next 4 days." He sighed as he could see the disappointment in my eyes. "Fine 2 just don't do that ever again" I hugged him "thank you"
