"So", Lisa starts and looks Jean in the eyes "you're wondering how I got here? To be completely honest I don't remember much. Yes, everyday I remember more and more about my past but only in certain situations."
She stops to take a sip of her tea and looks around the kitchen just to turn back to Jean and smile.
"But my past... isn't really that interesting. At least not the things I remember. I just had a... pretty regular life."
Jean smiles softly while sipping her tea and trying to remember her past. She already figured out that she could fight so that's a good start.
"It's true that I sometimes still forget little things like my age or where I put my stuff. But I guess that can't be helped."
As Jean slowly sips her hot tea her new friend continues telling her story.
"I woke up with a headache and had no idea who I was or where I was. So I wandered around and figured out how to use my magic when I got attacked the first time. Then after hours of walking I found this little cabin. I decided it's a good start and made some tea and a soup for myself."
Lisa takes another sip as Jean asks: "When did you remember your past or your name? Do you think there's certain things that trigger the remembering of your past?"
The woman with emerald green eyes looks around and thinks for a moment.
"I believe not, no. Until now I only had one thing trigger my memory and it was recently. That's why I'm surprised you remembered your name as soon as I asked you."
Jean smiles softly and puts the now empty cup back on the table.
"Would you mind telling me more about your past?"
Lisa takes her guest's cup and heads to the little kitchen.
"I can't really do that darling. We aren't even supposed to be here at the same time. Ah I think I've already said too much. It's getting late why don't we go to bed?"
Before Jean can protest or ask any further questions her host is heading to what looks like the bedroom.
Lisa is putting a red blanket next to the brown one and puts a little pillow on one side of it.
She gives Jean a soft smile and gestures her to come over.
Jean stands up and takes a few steps closer to Lisa who was standing right next to the two blankets on the floor.
Giving Lisa a very confused look Jean looks at the two blankets then down at herself.
"Do you have a bathroom?"
Lisa chuckles softly before pointing at the wall behind her.
"I'm sorry I can't offer much since I never have people over. There's a toilet in the back yard. It was here when I found the cabin."
Jean smiles and heads out of the house making her way to the back yard.
Lisa on the other hand takes off most of her clothes and lays down on the brown blanket on the floor.
Before Jean enters the house again Lisa takes another bigger blanket and covers herself with it.
"Hey Jean, as I said I don't really have much here but I hope you don'imd sharing a blanket. You can put your clothes on the floor over there."
Jean looks over to where Lisa's clothes were laying before looking back at Lisa and blushing.
"You've been living like this for two years? You defintely need more structure here. When should I wake up tomorrow?"
Lisa gives her new roommate a confused look before shrugging and turning over to face the wall.
"The day starts when I wake up. It's up to my body to decide when that is."
The blonde woman hesitates but eventually ends up taking off most of her clothes leaving only her top and pants on.
"We need a better structure if you plan on living like this."
Lisa giggles as Jean lays down next to her and takes one side of the big blanket Lisa covered herself up.
"Someone remembered more about their past." Lisa says while still smiling with her eyes closed.
Jean wants to ask so many things but she decides not to since Lisa is tired and would just avoid the questions again.
After laying on the floor for a few minutes Jean decides to close her eyes and try to sleep at least a little.
Suddenly she hears soft mumbling from her right side and turns to Lisa.
Lisa is facing the wall and is curled up in their shared blanket.
"I don't plan on staying any longer."
Jean is unsure of what to ask or what to suggest. The only thing she can bring herself to say is: "I don't either."
To which Lisa giggles and turns around to face Jean with her glowing emerald green eyes.
"I wasn't meant to stay this long. But I'm glad you're here now. I'm glad at least someone cares enough about me."
Before any other words escape her mouth Lisa shuts her eyes and turns back aroung with a smile.
Jean sighs and closes her eyes as well turning to the other side trying to sleep.
Still all she can think of is how to escape from this place together with Lisa.
Lisa lets her sleep at her house, she makes her tea and she helps her around telling her about her own experience.
The least Jean can do now is help her escape from the place she's been trapped in for two years.
Lisa's words keep crossing Jean's mind.
What does she mean with 'I've been here for too long' ?
Maybe her past has something to do with it. But Jean knows this is not the right time to think about something so complex and confusing.
She curls up in the white fluffy blanket that is probably made out of an animal and closes her eyes breathing slowly.
'I will help you Lisa.'
With that though even Jean falls asleep eventually.
