Lisa slowly opens her emerald green eyes as the sun shines into her face through the little window next to her.
Her whole body feels warm and she notices the blanket on the other side of the 'bed' where her new roommate was supposed to be laying.
Not seeing Jean in bed gives Lisa a slight panic and she gets up slowly.
"Jean?" She calls out through the house not being able to see or her anything.
She puts on her striped white dress and heads outside to look for Jean hoping it wasn't just a stupid dream.
Stepping outside Lisa spots the blonde woman cutting wood with her sword.
"Good morning Lisa. Or should I say good afternoon? It's already past lunch time!"
Lisa blushes slightly and smiles at her companion, glad she didn't leave her.
"I'm sorry, I'm not used to having to wake up early."
Jean smiles and cuts down another tree.
"Ah! Can I help you with anything?"
Lisa once again looks at her and smiles eventually looking back down at the floor.
Jean puts down her sword and puts the wood she just cut in a basket, handing it to Lisa.
"It's getting cold so I cut some wood for the fireplace. Would you bring it inside?"
Lisa nods and takes the basket heading back into the little house and putting it next to the small fireplace.
Jean on the other hand is now hunting in the forest to get something to eat for dinner and Lisa decided to make some tea.
After hours of hunting Jean is now on her way back to the house with a deer on her back.
I wonder what Lisa is doing.
Many thoughts about Lisa cross her mind while she's walking back and she can't help but think about Lisa's past.
She did say she remembers more and more every day but why doesn't Jean remember anything.
Only thing she remembered until now was her name and her fighting style.
And why did Lisa just come up to her and help her like that?
Does Lisa know more than Jean thinks she does?
Jean's thoughts were interrupted by her opening the front door and Lisa greeting her with a hug.
"I'm so glad you came back! For a second I really thought you left me."
"I couldn't just leave someone who offered me a home and warm tea as soon as we met." Jean laughs and hugs Lisa as well putting down the dead animal she was carrying.
"I'm going to cook something and you", Jean says while booping Lisa's nose softly "you are going to make a fire and sit down and wait, maybe read something."
Lisa smiles awkwardly and gets pushed into the so called living room while trying to explain that she was about to make tea.
Lisa sits down and watches her beautiful roommate make dinner for her.
Feeling her stomach grumble she turns to face the window then proceeds to lay down and groan.
"When is dinner going to be ready? I didn't eat anything today!"
Jean doesn't look back but smiles slightly at the childishness of her host.
"That's what happens when you wake up too late. Better wake up early tomorrow."
Lisa pouts and looks at Jean again.
She's still wearing the clothes from yesterday while Lisa changed into something more comfortable.
"Hey Jean?"
Jean lets out a hum and Lisa continues to speak again.
"I found some dresses when I moved in here do you want to out on one?"
Jean now turns around to look at Lisa and gives her a confused look.
"I don't mind wearing my clothes at all but if it would make you feel better then sure."
Lisa jumps up and runs to the little closet taking out a green dress with a brown colored torso and brown ends.
She runs into the kitchen slightly peeking over Jean's shoulder to see what she is cooking.
"Hey it's supposed to be a surprise!" Jean laughs and turns to face Lisa who was now inches away from her face.
Both of them blush slightly as their noses touch and Lisa backs away handing Jean the dress.
"I thought this one would suit you! You can change now before dinner so you don't have to wear the uncomfy clothes at the table."
Jean smiles and takes the dress carefully putting it down next to her as she puts the food she just made on the little table.
Lisa sits down and waits for Jean who is now putting in the dress.
After some minites Jean comes out wearing the green and brown dress and sits down on the other side of the table.
Lisa looks at her with admiration in her eyes and smiles "You really look stunning. That dress defintely suits you better than me so I think you should keep it."
Jean blushes and awkwardly tries to decline the offer but Lisa simply ignores it, still admiring her guest.
"And thank you for the dinner, my love."
She said it with such causality that Jean questioned everything.
Why was she calling her nicknames?
Maybe she forgot her name? Maybe she calls everyone those nicknames?
Many thoughts wander through Jeans head that she doesn't realize Lisa is asking her a question.
"Huh?" Jean says looking up from her food and locking eyes with Lisa.
"I asked if you remembered anything more from you past."
Jean looks back down and shakes her head.
To that Lisa just sighs in disappointment.
"Then we should find a way to get out of this place."
After a few minutes of silence Jean stood up.
"We will go tomorrow morning. Early in the morning. I know I was only here for a day but I can't let you live in this hell for another year or two."
Lisa smiles happily hoping that eventually her companion will remember more of her past.
