~Denki P.O.V,
Science Lab 3,
Blue Veil College,
10:00am,
Tuesday 10th September~
"Ughh, I'm too tireeed." Denki whined, sliding into his lab seat and scanning the room looking for a certain lavender haired male. Alas, the search was fruitless and Denki slammed his head down on the table in frustration. This earned a chuckle from someone by the door, Shinso, who had just entered the room to see Denki's dramatic antics. Of course Denki looked up with a glare, not realising it was him and snapped,
"What're you looking at, dumba- oh, it's you. S-sorry." his expression turned to a mix of shock and excitement which he quickly hid with a happy smile. The mask was back.
"G'morning to you too, dumb blonde." Shinso muttered, trying to play off the previous evening events. The professor came in at that moment and told everyone to sit, so Shinso sat next to Denki, because his previous seat was taken.
'Sitting next to me now, are you? What is this? Twilight?' Denki thought and scoffed to himself, shooting a small half hearted glare to Shinso who was looking the other way and didn't see."
"Electricity and Magnetism, that's our new topic." Began the professor, "Electricity and magnetism are separate yet interconnected phenomena associated with the . Together, they form the basis for electromagnetism, a key physics discipline. Except for behavior due to the force of gravity, nearly every occurrence in daily life stems from the electromagnetic force. It is responsible for the interactions between atoms and the flow between matter and energy. The other fundamental forces are the weak and strong nuclear force, which govern radioactive decay and the formation of atomic nuclei." and so the introductory lecture went on, Denki actually taking notes, sometimes copying of Shinso.
Shinso did the same, occasionally looking at either Denki's notes or Denki himself. Soon enough the lecture was over and they could leave the lab (They would've been in one of B.V's lecture halls but they has stayed in the lab for H&S reasons regarding demonstrations from their professor).
Shinso slipped a note into Denki's bag without him realising then left.
~timeskip to 7pm that night, Denki P.O.V.~
He sat, noticing a slip of paper in his bag with 'Kaminari' scrawled on one side.
"Mina! Sero!" he called to his friends in the kitchen and walked to them, "Someone left a note in my bag and I'm scared to read it."
Mina, who had been filled in on the night before's events squealed, "Maybe it's from that booooy!!!"
"Mina, be ni- wait what if it is? READ IT!" Sero blurted with a grin, "Or we will." Sero and Mina exchanged a glance and smirked. Denki realised what they were thinking and his eyes widened,
"Shit!" he screamed, then made a break for his room, knocking a plant over in the process. But Mina and her dancer's legs caught up to him and tackled him, grabbing the note from his hands while Sero restrained Denki so the pinkette could read it aloud. And so she did,
"Kaminari,
I wonder if you'll even read this. Oh well. Just wanted to say I don't regret the coffee cup, not fully, and you should also be ashamed of your spelling. I saw your notes in Physics today and what the hell is a 'fondementul forse'? Seriously, get a tutor. I'm always up for the position if you need ;)
See you around, Pretty Boy." Mina squealed, "DENKIIIIIII! YOUR BOYFRIEND IS ADORABLEEEEEE!!!!"
"He's not my boyfriend! Now let me go!"
They did, and he took the note to his room and locked the door. Denki stared at the note for hours, question upon question flooding his mind as he stared at the messy scrawl on the page. What did it all mean? Did this Shinso like him? Why was he calling him 'Pretty Boy'? Why Denki of all people? The confusion was a raging storm in his head. Whys, What ifs, The whole god damn lot of it. Denki just groaned. Why was life so complicated. He would never know.
Denki didn't get any sleep that night.
Neither did Shinso, that's for sure.
