"And that's a wrap!" Came the familiar call. Members of the crew came to shepherd the children to where their parents were waiting for them. Gem sighed gently. Today had been a lot of fun and work. She undid the yellow bandana and went off to rest. She stepped into the corridor that only she knew of. The one that led to Bosque de Mundos.

The trees glowed periwinkle blue around her. The sky was an inky black. Portals marked every tree. Gem closed her eyes and took a deep breath. The familiar smell of treacle mixed with peppermint flooded her brain. All was well here. She walked over to the only tree without a portal and picked up a picture. Two young children. Herself, short black curls dangling round her face. A boy with dark skin and curly brown hair, his eyes grey-blue and brown. And then, standing behind them, grinning widely, their adoptive father. Captain Jack Sparrow. Gem's brown eyes welled with tears. She missed them dearly. She couldn't remember her brother but she knew they'd been very close. A small sob escaped her. Then another. Then another. It wasn't long before she had fallen to her knees, breath hitching, shoulders trembling, back heaving. Not many could say that they had seen her cry. Not as much as she was now.

Gabriel sighed heavily. It was far to much pressure to be a hero sometimes. Certainly, the children running up to him and asking him to join their games was sweet but aside from that, he barely was strong enough. Bosque de Mundos was exactly what he needed. Then came the sound of sobbing. By natural instinct, he followed the sound. A woman was crumpled on her knees, sobbing heavily. Gabriel's brow furrowed, "Ma'am," He said gently, "Is something wrong?"
The woman gasped and looked up at him. And Gabriel gave her an equally shocker stare,
"No. Bloody. Way...."
