Jeremy looked up at mike, fear in his eyes. Mike was still looking at his arms, eyes wide with disbelief.
". I....I'm sorry." Whimpered Jeremy. Mike just stared at him, his gaze hard to read. But soon, his eyes held anger.
". You can't do these things to yourself!!" Mike said, letting go of his arm. Jeremy looked away, but mike clutched onto his shoulders. ". Listen to me! YOU CANT!!" Jeremy began to sob. Mike let go of his shoulders. But then, he pulled up the sleeves of his security guard uniform. Jeremy gasped. Faint, white scars marked them. Jeremy was struck with the realization that mike.... That mike used to hurt himself. Mike sighed.
". Kid... I never told you.. I wanted to protect you! I never wanted this to happen!" He pulled back down his sleeves. ". After my parents abandon me.... After 87.. Nobody cared about me. I was a freak. I couldn't deal with the pain.. So I did this. My parents died... And it worsened. I only stopped... After.... After I met you. " Mike paused for a minute, and continued. " Kid- Jeremy... We need to take care of this. I, not gonna let you to off and hurt yourself just because your b-". Jeremy winced. " Of a father is idiotic!!" Mike wound up the music box rapidly, and turned his attention back to Jeremy. I'm taking you to the hospital after out shift." Jeremy looked at his shoes, and nodded. Jeremy's eyes widened as mike suddenly hugged him.
". I don't want anyone to hurt you..., okay, kid?" Jeremy hugged back, realizing how nice it was to have someone.
