I sat down at my office chair and smiled to myself. Today will be different. I will make myself more available. I need to change my act otherwise I am going to end up alone.

Last night with Poe was nice, and then my night before with mystery guy was steamy. Maybe I should go back to the club? Would he be there?

I felt myself asking lots of questions today. I then heard a knock on the door.

Poe smiled down at me with his hair pushed back and his usually navy suit and colored tie.

"Hey, Beautiful. I just wanted to wish you a good day" He smiled. I smiled back with red appearing on my cheeks.

"Thanks, I hope you have a great day," I replied with a small smile.

Poe entered the room and leaned into my desk. "You wanna grab some lunch today?" he asked being super forward.

I mean it sounds nice, but I don't know. Oh, who am I kidding myself I need to push myself.

"Uh, sure! That would be great" I replied. His hand touched my cheek and his thumb fell to my bottom lip. "See you then, Kat" He hummed and then turned and walked right out the door.

My core was heated and I let out a long breath. Fuck me. I sighed.

I got back to my computer and started typing up my next financial report. Today was going to be a long day.

Soon as I was almost done typing in the last few numbers I hear a knock on the door. I look to see Poe smiling like he won the lotto. "Ready?" he asked.

"One sec. I wanna finish inputting these numbers and then we can go off." I said. I heard him shuffle and sit in one of my chairs watching me work and type in numbers. Something about him made me want to do summer salts.

I finish my work and I look over at him. "Ready" I smile.

Poe walked me into the elevator and once it started to move, Poe wrapped his arms around me from behind and pressed me into him. I pulled myself from him and gave him a look of concern. "Look, I like you but that is too fast" I stated. "Oh yea, ok. Sure. " He stated and then that just made everything awkward.

"I- I've only had one boyfriend. If you are looking for a one-time thing. I think you need to stop. You want to try something for more, then I am willing to try" I said boldly.

"Oh. I would have thought with a woman as gorgeous as you, you would have been around a little more. I am willing to wait around if you want" He winked. I felt gross now. The guy wasn't what you thought at all and now you were in a mess. Feeling bad because you turned him down flat about being sexual with you.

The elevator had stopped and you walked out first going over to Trudgen. You knew he would help.

Poe wasn't the guy you wanted to be around. You gave Trudgen a look, a look of despair, and "help me".

He looked and then understood. "Kat, I think you got called back up to the office. I believe Mr. Skywalker needed you for some files." Trudgen announced.

"Oh shoot, I forgot about the deadline. I will have to go up and get that fixed." I responded "I am so sorry Poe, looks like we will have to reschedule" I sighed. He nodded. No worries, want me to bring you back something?" He asked.

I shook my head. "I'll get something delivered" I smiled. He nodded and walked out the door.

"Thank you" I smiled over at Trudgen. "Anytime, Kat" He smiled back. "What do you want for lunch? I'll go get it for you?" He offered. I smiled widely. "Praise you! Chinese, please. Sweet and Sour Chicken with rice." I replied and I was digging into my purse when I heard him refuse. "On me, princess. I'll see you in a few minutes" He smiled and I walked into the elevator as he called to one of the guys he was taking his lunch.
