I was (and still am) a depressed teen, lonely, anxious, and very much vulnerable. I had written a story regarding an yaoi that was looked down upon, it was very sexual, but I was bored and everyone loved my writing. Trans men felt validated, anime fans read on and made fun of the spelling mistakes and joked and laughed in the comments. It was a fun time. Until, someone commented on my story, a sad story of how they were a trans boy who was bullied for being himself. Being who I am, (a nice person) I responded and validated him and his feelings. That's all I was doing. But this was the first step to getting manipulated and used.
