"Newbies, this is Emily Hansay, head councillor of the Athena cabin and this is Stacey Miller, daughter of Hecate. They will show you around camp, answer some questions and take you to some people who can contact your godly parent.

Katie's POV 🌸

"Okay, let's go!" Emily said.

She showed us the basketball courts where so many people are playing matches; the rock climbing walls clashing together, spewing hot lava, it was scary! The wonderful smelling strawberry fields, one of my favourite places so far; the dining pavilion were people were currently just chatting. We were told never to go in unless allowed by certain councillors. Then there were the cabins.I could spend hours on end explaining them with loads of detail.

Cabin 1 - Zeus' cabin
A marble looking building, polished in such a way to provide lightning bolts passing across. An intimidating statue of Zeus was inside. It had heavy white columns and polished bronze doors. Inside it looked slightly like a bank, the cabin also had alcoves with statues of golden eagles in. It didn't look like a home, a single bed and a sleeping bag with a few photos of kids were the only personalish items inside. The councillors are Jason and Thalia Grace, also the only residents.
"That Statue has a cold heart!" Luke snickered.

Cabin 2 - Hera's Cabin
It's made out of marble and shaped like a box. Another formal looking building, grey salt with pomegranate and flower garlands. Peacocks are also carved on the walls and doors. The cabin is temple-like with a huge statue in the middle of Hera with a fire pit at its feet and no furniture due to no residents. We didn't linger as it was freezing cold around it.

Cabin 3 - Poseidon Cabin
Made from rough sea stone and pieces of coral, sea shells embedded the walls. A trident hung over the door and you could feel almost a sea breeze as you walked by. Inside was 6 bunks, a salt water fountain that has golden drachmas to iris message people with in the bottom and large glass windows that faced the ocean. There are a few bronze hippocampi carved on the ceiling and on the windowsill there are a few underwater plants and peices of seashell and coral. The cabin councillor is Percy, and the only other resident is Tyson the Cyclops.

Cabin 4 - Demeter's Cabin
This was one of the most beautiful cabins, covered in every flower possible vines and tomato plants. It had a real grass roof and brown walls. Its councillor is Miranda Gardiner and the cabin is fairly busy with lots of other residents. A huge door led out to a small garden where many of the campers were working.

Cabin 5 - Ares' Cabin
This cabin was badly painted red with a barbed wire roof and ugly statues. A boar's head hung over the door and loud rock music blares from it. This was one I didn't fancy going inside. Clarisse La Rue and Morgan Red were the head councillors. This cabin also had many campers living in it.

Cabin 6 - Athena's cabin
Athena's cabin is a grey building with plain white curtains and a design of an owl over the door. Inside most of the space is devoted to maps, desks, various projects and weapons with all the bunks shoved against one wall as if sleep was not important. The councillor is Malcom Chase and this is, again, a busy cabin.

Cabin 7 - Apollo's Cabin
Apollo's cabin is made from solid gold and glows during the day time. This means it is hard to tell whether it is reflecting light or generating it. Inside, there are huge bunks and a blindingly bright statue of Apollo. The Councillor is Will Solace, with Michael Yew and Lee Fletcher having died in previous battles. This, I would say, is one of the most busy cabins.

Cabin 8 - Artemis' Cabin Cabin 8 is a small silver building with silver curtains, similar to the outfit of the hunters. It also glows silver during night time, as if reflecting the moon, but looks like a normal cabin in the day. It is decorated in paintings and carvings of wild animals, mostly the stag. Because Artemis doesn't have children of her own, her cabin is honorary; however it is used by the hunters when they visit camp. The Councillor and leader of the hunters is Thalia Grace and she is also the girl we saw earlier.

Cabin 9 - Hephaestus' Cabin Cabin 9 looks like a small factory with brick walls and smoke stacks like the forges and lots of gears around the entrance. Inside there are folded steel bunks against the walls. Each bed has a digital control panel, blinking LED lights, glowing gems and interlocking gears. It has shiny metal walls and metal slated walls. It is noted for being unclean and messy, filled with junk most of the time. A fire pole comes down from the second floor, a circular staircase leads down into some kind of basement. The walls are lined with every kind of power tool imaginable and a huge assortment of weaponry. A work bench overloads with scrap metal, screws, bolts, washers, nails, rivet and a million other machine parts. There is also a tunnel underneath. The councillor is Leo Valdez and Charles Beckendorf.

Cabin 10 - Aphrodite's Cabin Aphrodite's cabin is a wooden oak cabin with a painted blue roof, checkerboard deck, pillars with steps and pink walls. It also smelt heavenly of designer perfume. It was like a giant Barbie house where supermodels go to die. It was basically a life-sized doll house with pink walls and a white window trim. The lace curtains are pastel blue and green which matched the sheets and feather comforters on all the beds. The guys had one row of bunks separated by a curtain, but their section of the cabin was just as neat and orderly as the girls'. The cabin was always clean, except for under the beds which had chocolate wrappers, love notes, and many other things under them. Every camper had a wooden camp chest at the foot of their bunk with their name painted on it in different colours. The only other bit of individuality was how the campers had decorated their private bunk spaces. E.g. each had slightly different pictures tacked up of whatever celebrities they thought were hot. A few had personal photos too but most were actors or singers. The cabin councillor was Lacy.

This Chapter took me ageeeees!!! I had to look in all of the percy jackson books to find info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
