It was a bright sunny day with only a slight breeze. As such on days like this many mothers find themselves pushing their children on swings or helping them up climbing frames. This particular mother found herself doing just that.
Inko midoriya was a single mother, she got married when she was 25 and had her first born only a few years later when she was 28. She named her daughter Yuri. Then at 36 she had her second born, izuku. At this point in time Yuri was 8 and when izuku was 6 she was 14 and nearly starting her official GCSE's.
Inko liked to think she was a good mother. Her daughter got a good education and ended up happy! Her son got a good education as well! She liked to think it was from her influence that they were doing so well in life! until that day.

Back to the beginning of the story, izuku was being pushed on the swing, smiling big. He looked so happy inko couldn't help but smile. She did one of those big laughs that make you smile so hard and squint your eyes. She closed her eyes and waited to hear her sons beautiful laughter as the swing hither hand and she pushed.. an empty swing..
She quickly opened her eyes she knew something was wrong the swing was too light. There was no sound. No laughter. Nothing.
The entire park was empty there wasn't anyone there apart from herself. Everyone was gone including her son. She felt dread fill her senses. She couldn't breath.
"No.."
How did he get taken? He was right in front of her eyes only a second ago. Where could he have gone?
Thoughts were rushing through her head.
"Izuku! This isn't funny sweetheart! Please ! Come out now! It isn't funny anymore!"
She looked everywhere. Around the swing, under the bench, in the climbing frame, even in the forest but he wasn't there he wasn't anywhere. He was gone.

Getting the child boss wanted was easy. She closed her eyes, we moved in. As soon as we got the child we ran out of there although we heard the mother look for him everywhere.

That Indecent was 5 years ago. They never found him. I'm starting to think he wasn't even there. That he was just a figment of my imagination.
I'm 47 now. Yuri's 19. Izuku would have been 11.
I never got over it. How could my beautiful child be taken from right under my nose?
I blame myself. If i had never closed my eyes. If we had not gone to the park, would he still be here? He would have been in middle school by now. I bet he would have had so many friends..
My therapists tells me to not think about the what ifs, but i cant help it.
If i had been just slightly more aware, that maybe that bright sunny day wouldn't have turned into the nightmare it is..
