Run away, I'm going faster if I want to
On a journey, on a mission, never left
No more doubt, no more running from the half truth
I'm a fighter, lighting fires, knock 'em dead+

8-year-old Hitomi watched as her twin was dragged away to another day of torturous training. It was all so unfair. It started with him driving their Mother to insanity and causing Shoto's scar, then he sent her away, and then he killed her big brother. Who was he to have all this power? Fuyumi took her hand, leading her down the hall in silence, but Hitomi's gaze never looked away from the door. She tugged on her sister's hand before freeing herself, running to the door that separated her from her Brother. She banged her fist against it, yelling her Brother's name as Fuyumi scurried to her side, trying to convince her to stop.
" NO! HE CAN'T DO THIS TO SHOTO!! IT ISN'T FAIR!!" She argued, lava rushing through her fist as she banged on the door once more, melting through it completely. Her hand grabbed onto the doorknob, melting straight through it. She pushed open the door, seeing her Brother doubled over and shaking, frost covering the ground. Endeavor's attention was drawn to the girl as she raced forward, Fuyumi hesitant to grab her.
Hitomi hugged her Brother's side, glaring at her Father with such childish hatred. Endeavor hesitated to reach out, remembering the moment she almost incinerated his fingers. Nonetheless, he wouldn't will himself so slow as to be afraid of a child. Hitomi looked away from him, squinting her eyes in fear as she held tighter to her brother. She was grabbed by the back of her collar, her hands instinctively reaching to grab what held her. She was thrown back from them, Endeavor no longer focused on the girl. She stood to her feet, running back towards her Father. She tugged at his arm, trying to pull him back and from hurting Shoto. Shoto looked at the scene before him, remembering his Mother once doing this to protect him.
" Leave Shoto alone-" Hitomi let out a yelp as the back of Endeavor's hand collided with her cheek, forcing her to the ground. She fell with a thud, holding her stinging cheek as she cried in disbelief. Shoto raced toward her, the two switching roles as Shoto was now the one comforting her in his arms.
