Ladybug landed on the eiffel tower and looked out at Paris, the sun was setting and the soft lights of Paris shone like fairy lights in the darkness.

She breathed a breath of fresh air and felt free.

For a moment she wondered where she would go. With kaalki she could go anywhere she wanted but she needed somewhere safe.

She sat down with a huff and thought, where could she go...

For a moment she sat there in her own head space thinking when a thought hit her.

The temple in Tibet! It was perfect, she could train to be the guardian and take time for her self to heal.

She grinned and was about the detramsform, to get kaalki and the horse miraculous, to take her to Tibet when she heard cat nior land behind her.

She jumped. He grinned.

"M'lady!" He says with a slight bow "we didn't have patrol tonight, did we?"

"No I just came out for some fresh air"

He frowned at her tone, he examined her face, her eyes where puffy and red and her voice was scratchy. Her cheeks where red to and if he looked closely he could make out tear tracks.

"Whats wrong?" He asked concerned  reaching out for her but she flinched at his touch and moved away.

"I'" ladybug swallowed the lump in her throat as she tried to get her emotions back in check. " have you ever had to deal with someone who constantly lies? Who threatens you at every chance she gets but also pulls through on her threats?"

Cat frowned "I'm sorry mlady, is there anything I can do?"

"No" she replied lamely

"I'm here for you, ladybug"

She gave a joyless laugh "that's what he said too, as long as we know it doesn't matter! It's not hurting anyone!"

She snarled in frustration frightening cat who had been trying to reach her again but backed off.

"My kwami is exhausted because she spends so much time trying to heal me and its effecting the miraculous cure!" She snapped

"Don't tell me you haven't noticed!"

Cats ears fell and his tail flicked agitatedly, ladybug seemed unaware of his inner termoial.

He had noticed ladybug limping every now and then, he noticed she flinched when touched, he had noticed the sparkle in her eyes had gone.

He also noticed the miraculous cure took longer amd missed things, upturned cars, bruising, small fires.

He had tried to get her to laugh amd smile and to feel better but nothing he did seemed to work anymore.

"Maybe If you told me what's happening I could help, please lb"

"I can't, you know that, I just... need some time away"

"But!"

"My kwami has decided some time away will be good for me, it won't be long I promise and I'll be there for attacks but not for Patrol"

Whilst chat still seemed upset he understood, alot had happened lately, he questioned the advice he gave to marinette as he watched as she was shoved and shunned by the class. She had become quiet and withdrawn.

He just couldn't risk the same happening to him, now his lady was going through something similar and wouldn't let him help even though he could.

She came towards him and he opened his arms and she walked into them and hugged her.

At first she was stiff and tense but she soon relaxed and returned the hug.

"Let me know your safe?" He asked worriedly.

Ladybug smiled at him weakly and nodded before she threw her yo yo and zipped away.
