Meeting Joshua

"Good morning Elle!" "Good morning Ethan!" "Good morning" Ethan replied. Ughhh what time was it. If you knew me as a child you would know that I was everything but an early bird. And for a very good reason! Who would choose to wake up early when you could sleep all you want!! "ELLIE WAKEE UPPP!!" Ethan said as he started bombarding me with the pillows that were our makeshift bed last night. "Ugh! you are SOO annoying!!" I grumbled clearly angry for being woken up at..."What time even is it?" "Seven AM." SEVEN AM!! I was woken up at seven am!! And for what? "Breakfast time!!" Emilia said from the kitchen. Oh! Food I guess I will excuse it...this one time...

   "How are ya'll feeling...especially after what happened last night..." Emilia asked us. Just remembering that my parents are no longer here...can never come home...can never pick me up from school...can no longer walk through the door...can no longer tell me t-that they l-love m-me a-and E-Ethan... "I- I- c-can w-we s-save t-this for a-another d-day" I asked with tears welling up in my eyes. Just seeing me almost in tears brought a pained expression to Ethan's face which resulted in tears..."Hey...Hey guys...I promise it will be alright ya'll have me! How about today we fix up your rooms!! Would ya'll two like that? "Y-yes" I said as I nodded my head. Ethan also nodded his head in agreement.

As we walked outside my whole world suddenly lit up when I saw him...The one who would change my life forever...My true love...My first and last kiss... "Our next door neighbor Joshua Rodriguez." Emilia said to me and Ethan. Joshua Rodriguez...Gabrielle Alice Rodriguez...Not going to lie Rodriguez just might suit me better...

On our way to the store I was up on cloud nine!! Who was that Jacob Rodriguez? He was certainly...adorable! his dreamy wavy brown hair, his mid complexion and his height... I was only seven at the time, but even then I always knew that it would always be Joshua Rodriguez... "Hey Elle!! You are as red as a tomato!!!" Ugh! My annoying twin Ethan just had to ruin this moment!!! "I think Elle has a little...crush." Emilia said making me turn even redder! "A crush...Disgusting!!" Ethan said while making a worried expression. "You're disgusting!!" I replied to Ethan. Ugh why is Ethan like this?

As we arrived to what I guess was our new home there he was...I swear he is still to this day the definition of perfect but not let's get ahead of ourselves.

As me and Ethan walked out helping Emilia with the room decorations and groceries Joshua was there playing basketball...alone

"Ya'll two should go meet Joshua when we finish putting everything inside!" Emilia said to me and Ethan. "Yes!! I would love that!!" I said I would finally be able to talk too him!!

As me and Ethan walked towards Joshua's house I could feel my heart beating faster and faster *thump thump* *thump thump*this may be the fastest my heart has ever beat... "Hello are ya'll new?" I looked up to see Joshua. Gosh he was cute!! "Yeah I am Ethan and this here is" "Elle! My name is Elle!!" I interrupted Ethan. "Elle...that's a pretty I- mean cool name!" Oh my gosh- HE THINKS MY NAME IS PRETTY!! "W-well technically her full name is Gabrielle." Ethan said struggling to find words. 'Well my name technically is Elle..." I said angry at Ethan. "Well Gabrielle is still a pre- cool name... A pretty cool name!!" "Haha thanks!! Well Joshua is a really really cool name!!" I said full of excitement!! " Soo we are just going to ignore my name?" Ethan said to us sarcastically. "Also Ellie you look like a tomato" Ethan said laughing! Ugh!! Brothers are soo unbearable!! Did he really have to point out my blushing!! "*mummers* Well your blushing is pretty cute..."  Oh my gosh!! "What did you say!" Ethan said shooting a glare at Josh. "Uh- Yeah she totally looks like a tomato-" "HEY! Only I call her a tomato!!" Ethan exclaimed. "I-uh sorry..." "Don't worry about it Ethan is just annoying." I said to Joshua. "Ellie you can not be talking" Ethan said knowing I am not fond of the name Ellie. "Hmm Ellie" "Josh! Pleaseee don't I despise that name!!" I said to Josh. "You know what I really like the name Ellie!" "Fineee...Joshiee!!" I though ha! Perfect! "Joshy... interesting" Josh said to me. "Ethanie?" Ethan said to both Josh(y) and I. "Ethan...Ethan... your name just isn't cool enough for the club." I told Ethan with a huge grin on my face. "*laughs*" Josh(y) started laughing at my comment. Which made me happier knowing that Josh(y) thought that I was hilarious. "Elle, Ethan!! Time to come home!!" Emilia said from what I guess was now our patio. "See ya'll later?" Josh(y) asked Ethan and I "Of course" I replied "yeah" Ethan said as we walked away (me waving to Josh(y))

"Well I decorated ya'll's rooms. Would ya'll like to see?" "Yes!! Thank you!!" I replied to Emilia as we walked upstairs to see our new bedrooms." As we saw our new (may I add very beautiful) bedrooms we were thrilled! We had our own rooms!! When we l-lived with our parents Ethan and I always shared a room...Just bringing up my now deceased parents brought sadness to my mood even to this day years later I will always miss my parents who were taken too early...and that will never ever change...

"Elle likes Josh!!" Does Ethan not know how to shut up? But he wasn't wrong... "Elle! Already!" Emilia exclaimed in shock. Emilia then bent over and whispered into my ear "Elle in my very honest opinion just between us...He is a extremely cute boy and perfect for you!" Emilia then stood up and said "Ethan can you seriously believe her" Emilia said half laughing. "I know right Elle is boy crazy!!" Emilia and I burst into laughter upon hearing Ethan's comment. My brother is definitely something else. At least I know that Emilia will support my crush on Josh(y). Well...crush may be an understatement as the years passed by...
