he warned you about me. how he had dated me, but i wasn't a good person to hang out with.

it was true, chan, that i wasn't a good person per se. but i can assure you that jisung was worse.

either way, i could hear the frown in your voice as you told him you would gladly find out, as i had been very nice to you up til then.

'your loss,' jisung had said, before walking off.

you rounded the corner and saw me pressed against the wall.

'fuck, did you hear all of that?'

i smiled and nodded. but you could tell that i wasn't okay, and pulled me in a tight hug.

i felt safe in your arms, as if you hadn't just caged me into a lion's den. i was trapped in your embrace, i just hadn't realised it yet.
